This wig grip band works exactly as advertised. It keeps my wig securely in place all day without slipping or feeling too tight. This wig grip is great. You can adjust it to your preferred tightness. I find it works best when I clip the band to my natural hair first and then clip the wig on each side to the band itself—Bobby pins work well as clips. I find that the band slips more frequently during the day if I also wear a nylon skull cap under it. My preference is to leave the nylon off for a longer lasting hold of my wig. I hand wash mine every week along with my wig. You can wash more frequently if you sweat a lot or the band has an odor. The package came with 2 bands which can be interchanged when one is drying from a recent wash. The band does not leave marks on my head. The size is adjustable to your head. Because it sits under my wig, the appearance is not worrisome to me. It is a thin band except for the area that velcros in the back. The thickness has no impact on my wig’s appearance. It does absorb my natural sweat without losing its position around my head. The material is soft to the touch where it counts. The Velcro area is stiffer than the rest of the band. I Find this product to be of good quality and a reasonable price.

I expected this to be a gimmick and was pretty surprised that it kept my wig in place. I have a relatively small head and the band fit well. The material is soft and there wasn't any itching or discomfort. It's also a better price than some others I've seen so I feel like I made a good decision.

I've been losing my hair steadily for 2 years. Some auto-immune thing. Nothing helped, so i dug into my stash of very cool wigs, and started wearing them again. Then, they were for fun. Now, it's a necessity and i enjoy them. My hair was always fine. So the thinning and bare spots had to be covered. I saw these several years ago, but it didn't seem like a big deal. I finally bought a few, and i'm getting more. I can't figure out the magic of how they worked, but they work fantastically. I had been doing the tedious cap and bobby pin thing. The pins actually took more hair with them. Time-consuming, and i'm usually in a rush. There's barely anything around the perimeter of my head for pins to grasp onto, The pins would slide around after a few hours and pull from the wig occasionally. I detest the whole bobby pin routine if I have no hair to pin them to. I tried these on as soon as I got them. Soft and smooth. It went on quickly. There's no learning curve. I wet the area i was placing it on, as someone suggested. It gripped right away, felt great, and stayed in place all day with the velcro adjustment. Keeping my wig in place the entire time. No headache. I don't even think about how my hair looked and checking it as the day went on, like I usually did. The velcro is strong. The band is as snug (or not) as I want it. I got the nude. But i don't think it really matters about the color because my wigs are part-less and easy to style. The gripper is easily moved to adjust where you want it. It adds a lot to your confidence if you're self-conscious or not used to wearing wigs. I think they're perfect for those undergoing chemo. It does not slip at all on the bald areas. I haven't figured out how it grips the head and the wig..... but who cares? I'm ordering more. I tried it with scarves and headwraps that slip because of my small head and the hair loss patches. They grip great and the scarves look great. I don't know if all the brands of these wig/scarf grips are as good. I'm just sticking with what i know works. These are a blessing.

Maybe it’s just me but sometimes it works for my half wigs and other times it doesn’t. It’s kinda slippery. It could just be me not applying it right

I wore a long, heavy, red curly wig for a bachelorette party. There was a lot of dancing and carrying on. My wig stayed put! I have dark brown hair, I would recommend getting one that matches your hair color not your skin color. Couldn't see it at all. It fit well. I will definitely use it again.

It’s definitely one size fit all, which is perfect, the band is extremely durable and has a strong grip. It does not slip or slide at all! It’s definitely worth the money

These are a lifesaver. I have very little natural hair on my head so I can’t use the combs attached inside my wig. With these velvet bands my wig stays in place all day with no movement. Nice colour and fit fantastically as well as been lovely and soft. I have washed them and are very durable. I would recommend these to anyone. Just ensure it is fitted as per instructions, if the Velcro fastening is at the nape of your neck it can irritate the skin.
