The instructions are printing are good (not old programs) but following the direction I could not completely align the labels properly so I decided to just write them with back magic marker. I find the insertion of the plastic tabs very easy....first 1 or 2 struggled but after that very easy as the 3 tabs have different lengths so allow you to insert 1 at a time-clever design. I did not buy the hanging folders with built in tabs they sell since I have a bunch of hanging folders already. I am very happy with my purchase and wanted to post to let others know tabs DO fit very well onto hanging pendaflex folders and I am so glad I found this method to organize my files. Update June 2020: I bought more so I can help my son, a college graduate heading to a new job, start his own filing system with the proper labeling system. I also like the magnification . My only disappointment was that there were no insertable labels to use to insert into them. Usually there would have been a perforated sheet of at least 10 labels to print on and insert into the tabs.
