It covers flawlessly; so much so that I no longer need concealer for my age spots and blemishes. It is applied with a sponge (included with purchase), which allows you to easily control how much or little to apply. It feels cool and moist when first applied, then "sets" to a more matte finish soon after. It is one of the few foundations I can wear without powder, as my skin tends to be shiny most of the time. Also, it does not wear off and it really helps minimize fine lines and wrinkles. Normally I wear a medium-light foundation, but my face is lightly tanned from being in Arizona the past couple of months, so I purchased the honey shade (255) and it matched perfectly. I've recommended this foundation to my 84-year-old mother as I'm sure she will love it, too.
