The media could not be loaded. I do most of my fly fishing at the beach in saltwater. It is usually very windy at the beach and my weight forward line was just not up to the job. I was having trouble casting my big clouser flies.This RIO shooting head is just what I needed to cast my large flies easily. The extra front weight cuts through the wind and produces longer casts.The line is marked on one end telling you to attach this end to your running line. Both ends of the shooting head have welded loops. I like that the line is clear and that I can use it in salt or fresh water. This line is very slick and I am backing it up with 100 feet of RIO 30 lb. Powerflex Max running/shooting line. I am having fun with my new set up going after bluefish and striped bass.To finish my new set up, I ordered an Airflow custom cut sink tip. And I use 2 feet of AFW surflon micro supreme wire between the sink tip leader and the clouser.
