Yes, they're cheap and can fall apart kind of easy, but you can also put them back together easily. They aren't meant to hold heavy items but they work absolutely perfect to hold plant stems, plant netting, Christmas lights and garland and 100 other things that I have used them for. I love that there are 2 sizes and find myself digging these out for all kinds of uses around the garden. They are out in all kinds of weather, I've been using them for years and none have completely broken yet. If the little wire comes off, just put it back on and keep using it.

Work great so far. Hope they last longer than the ones I bought last year from a cheaper online retailer. Those are breaking this year and it’s disappointing even though it’s pretty inexpensive item on the Whole.

These are acceptable for light support. They are designed for light support. The clips must be parallel to your support stake or wire or the clips could pop off. If you twist them they come apart, but they easily snap back in place. The clips are easier to apply than twist ties especially in hard to reach areas. They work best on flower stems and and new growth vines. The small size actually works well and saves time with the espalier of young fast growing branches on trees, Once the branches reaches intermediate growth the clips will need to be replaced with a strong tie to prevent them from falling off in heavy winds. Keep in mind these are made of plastic and will be come brittle when exposed to extreme temperatures over time. I expect they will last a year or two.

Extremely easy to use. The clips slip over the vine and the metal trellis. These clips will not work with a wooden trellis as the clip doesn't open that wide.

Clip works well some came they were already broken but they are durable works good around plants.

Love these clips for supporting vines and tall plants in my garden. Well designed. Exceptionally easy to use and sturdy. I came back and purchased a 2nd pack after trying them out. Well packaged and arrived in perfect condition. Recommend them over trying to tie plants to stakes. These easily "hug" my stakes and do not move. Green color makes them inconspicuous.
