I bought this ink for a HP Photosmart C6280 printer. HP doesn't make the ink cartridges anymore so it was try this or toss the printer. I was pleasantly surprised at how well the cartridges work. I was expecting the printer to throw up warnings and complain but it accepted the cartridges with no issue and I am printing again. It's also cheaper than HP ink which is a nice bonus.

Excellent seller response! Within 4 business days of contacting the seller about the problem described below, I received the four replacement cartridges. Judging from the sound of ink sloshing inside, these are full cartridges. Their other ink cartridges in the printer continue to work well.Prior Comments:Just installed the MAGENTA cartridge in my C6180 and it shows empty on the printer display. Installed a YELLOW and it is full. Confirmed magenta is empty by shaking- there is no sloshing sound compared to other new cartridges received in this order. Also confirmed that one each of the LIGHT MAGENTA, YELLOW and the LIGHT CYAN are also empty. I have asked the vendor for replacements for one each of these four cartridges:MAGENTALIGHT MAGENTALIGHT CYANYELLOWThe two full cartridges that I installed are working well. So would 5* these if not for the manufacturing error.

I was surprised when I loaded the dark magenta and black cartridges that the printer recognized them immediately. I thought all was good. The next morning I went to print something and noticed that the printer indicated that the black was empty. Then I saw the pool of ink under the printer. There were no directions with the ink but I did read reviews BEFORE loading and realized that you should not remove the film from the ink ports. To be clear - I DID NOT remove this film. The black ink leak didn't affect the paper so I put in another black cartridge that appeared fine. I don't use this printer often. A few days later, I printed a document that used the dark magenta ink. The page came out with large red ink drops. I removed the paper tray and there was red ink everywhere! I was trying to save my favorite printer HPPhotosmart8250 which is many years old but always printed so well. The ink had gotten so expensive that I decided to save myself some money. Now I am shopping for a new printer.

Like the low price. The black ink is not very dark.

That you carry this product when others do not.

I have been using this brand of replacement cartridges for 2 years and have never had a problem installing one or having one bleed ink. Colors are perfect and the price is less than half of the HP ink.

Trying to squeeze some life out of my perfectly-useful-but-old printer, I was hopeful when I found this product. I was able to print 2 wallet size photos the day the box arrived. They looked great. The following day I printed 5 more...then the printer stopped working, giving an error code that two of the cartridges were out of ink or missing. I took out the offenders and shook them, hearing lots of ink sloshing about. Tried putting them back in. Nope. Had to switch to use the second cartridge of the 2 "empty" ones, and the printer worked fine then. The problem now, though, is that I have 2 nearly-full cartridges that are useless. Who knows how long the others will work. Fortunately these aren't as expensive as HP ink (now THERE is some thievery).

Remove the wax paper off the jet. I read some reviews about leaking. I haven’t had any issues but I remove the wax paper covering the jet as it could get into the rubber seal

2nd purchase of this ink and it works well. Very satisfied...

Ces cartouches sont d'une mauvaise qualité. Les couleurs n'impriment pas correctement et les cartouches ne rentrent pas aisément dans l'imprimante.

Now that HP has dumped all their 02-cartridge printers, this is the only game in town to keep them working. Thank you, Hotcolor, and a loud Boo to HP.
