Pretty much flawless
Ive had this for a couple months now, as long as you oil it every so often and don't drop it, it works perfectly. Mine shoots a tad right and up, but for 14$ I couldn't have asked for much more. +has weights in gun/mag so doesn't feel super cheap. +has multiple safeties to not accidentally shoot someone +hammer actually moves so awesome for realism +easy to take apart/fix - sometimes the mag will mis-feed the gun and a BB will get stuck in the mechanism, if you don't catch this before you shoot again, you may permanently damage it. -has a couple degrees random deviation overall this is a great product, other than being almost completely plastic (save the barrel) and the slightly faulty loading mechanism, I couldn't find anything wrong with the gun.Even if you break something on the inside, it looks pretty realistic and would look awesome on a shelf, if you're looking for a good, cheap pistol that doesn't take up too much space and are on a budget, this is the perfect gun for you.

Very, very nice, cheap price
This is a very nice gun. It is a springer, so you have to cock back with each shot. It shot fairly accurately, and the hop up was noticeable up close but from farther back it is perfect. The plastic is very sturdy, and it could probably take a small beating, but its better to just take care of it. There are a lot of 1911's that look like this model, but double eagle's is by far the cheapest while not sacrificing any quality. One thing about it is it is fairly hard to cock, so it might not be suitable for a younger child as they'll have a hard time pulling it back with each shot. Also, the weight if very nice and realistic, and reloading the mag is very smooth and has an oh-so satisfying click to it.

Good indoor plinker
1- Pull back the hammer before racking the slide. It sure makes it easier. It's getting broken in and smoother after about 100 shots. 2- Accuracy. Not that great. From 10 feet away best I could do was a 2 in inch group. I attribute this partly to the trigger being pretty rough. Noticed my finger gets a little pinch between the guard and bottom of the trigger now and then. 3- The magazine release is a bit sensitive. All that said, it's a great arm chair plinker. It's all I expected for twenty bucks. The thumb and grip safety work with the hammer, nice touch. From 10 feet it punched holes through a tissue box. Overall I am happy with my purchase so far and I think with care it will last.

Poor copy
This pistol is essentially a copy of this UTG Airsoft UHC 1911 Pistol . When I say this, I mean that as far as I can tell, the Double Eagle version was made from either the same, copied, or reverse engineered molds for the UTG/UHC pistol. I own both pistols, and was aware of this when I purchased the Double Eagle version. I had hopes it would be a slightly cheaper ($7 less than the UTG/UHC) way to get a second, good quality 1911. I was half right. The Good: - This pistol has essentially the same performance as my UTG/UHC 1911. It is equally accurate, and equally powerful. I haven't been able to chrono either, but other sources have claimed roughly 280 fps. With .20g BBs, this seems about right. - This pistol seems to be built pretty well. I expect it will put up with a moderate amount of rough handling. - This pistol doesn't seem to need a lot of breaking in, whereas some require some use before they become very accurate. - The pistol has two working safeties; slide safety (which also stops the trigger) and grip safety. Both versions have this functionality. - The pistol (again, just like the UTG/UHC version) can be disassembled by removing the slide stop pin. The Bad: - Like the UTG/UHC version, the slide stop doesn't work. More of a quibble. The Ugly (in comparison to the UTG/UHC 1911): - All exterior parts on the Double Eagle pistol are plastic. The UTG/UHC 1911 has a metal trigger, grip safety, and slide front. - The finish. The Double Eagle pistol is a very dry feeling, flat finished ABS plastic. The UTG/UHC 1911 has a smooth, satin finish that feels significantly better. I also suspect the Double Eagle pistol to be less durable. - Operation. The hammer of the Double Eagle pistol moves slower. The trigger pull is harder. Cocking the slide is also slightly harder. - The magazine slides into the grip of the Double Eagle version less easily. - The Double Eagle version has print on the slide. I don't really like it, but that's personal preference. Let me stress the similarities of the two guns; the magazines are interchangeable between both versions, and both contain 22 BBs. The slide and grips can be swapped when the guns are disassembled. This gun was only $7 cheaper than the UTG/UHC 1911 ($14 vs $21). If you absolutely can't afford the extra $7, this gun will probably do just fine for you. Otherwise, I personally see no reason to choose this gun over the UTG Airsoft UHC 1911 Pistol .

Perfect Pistol
Amazing product perfect weight and scale. May not fit small hands. Several safety features including accurate ducktail saftey featured on real M1911. Magazine behaves very well if it gets stuck just firmly hit it against a hard object. The best pistol in my opinion. + Just purchase this again on 7/21/18 and the 1st time i recieved the pictured item but this time is was slightly different. My new one for starters is much heavier (both the magizine and the pistol). The newer one has lettering on the side saying M21 USE 6mm BB Bullet and a double eagle. Also something that appears to be paint has chipped near the hammer however it is minor and could be fixed easily as well as the letters. I recommend wiping down the pistol with windex just in case. The interior of the pistol appears to be oily and i wipe it clear came out yellow recommend cleaning when deivered. Still a nice pistol. Highly recommended.

Well, my gun was took one day to get here and that's really fast! Over all the gun is great good distance, Can be fixed really easy if you know how to fix an airsoft gun. The gun comes apart so you can fix the insides, and that helps a lot! The hammer works also. At first it may be hard to cock back the slide but it gets easy over time. Now with the safety. It has two safety's ,One is located in the back of the gun. You must grip the gun firmly in order to pull the trigger all the way back to shoot. The other is right next to it. Now most people see it in the manuel that comes with the gun but because its engraved in plastic they think it does not work. That's wrong. It does work fine. To put safety on you must push the button up. It may be hard at first but you'll get us to it. Once the safety is on you can't cock the slide back, and the hammer will not let down you try to push it down. Now if you cock the hammer back and then put the safety on, even if you grip the other safety and pull the trigger it wont work. The sights on this gun works good. Now if you want to change the hop up you can't they already fix it so that it's in it's right spot. The magazine has some pounds on it and that's good. It's just like the real gun it's self. So if your worried and don't know if you should buy it, buy it!

NOT accurate, NO "Hop-Up", NO possibility to adjust accuracy!!!
I just got it two days ago and very unhappy with it. Accuracy is about 1 to 10. BB's fly anywhere they want, no system, even from 15-25ft. Another I noticed, that FPS is not even 150 and it is really very noticeable. The quality (exterior) is very solid, plastic almost 100%, but very good quality. I do not know maybe it is possible to tune it some way, but I would not recommend it to even very beginner. Update, 1 day later: On the box I found label stating that this is a "Hop-Up version", but in reality this pistol has fixed Hop-Up. It means that no way to adjust accuracy. Return was submitted day ago, but still no word from seller.

everything about this is amazing i was looking for a side arm for airsoft wars and didn't want to spend much money for it this gun is worth much more it may be spring be its amazing accuratcy and power the slide is a little tough at first when you get used to it it dosen't seem like any time at all pulling it back the gun is actualy 8 ounces which is good its still metal and plastic mixed and the mag actualy only holds 20 rounds but that dosen't really change it much at all overall this gun for events or just shooting is amazing especialy for this price, very accurate, large clip, and much power
