Whoa! If you're trying to dispose of metal credit cards read this review...
These are fantastic. First off, they're way bigger and stronger than expected. I have metal credit card(s) that are not active and needed to be disposed of and the shredder was not strong enough to cut it up. If you're in the same situation as I was, go ahead and add this item to your cart and keep reading. These work. SO WELL. Slices right through the metal cards like butter. These can do a whole bunch of things but I needed these for that one task only and man do they get the job done. 5 stars easy.

Nippers & Snippers
I got a chuckle that the product category is "Nippers & Snips", which is close enough to "Nippers & Snippers" to give me a laugh. These things are great. Used them to easily cut through metal roof fascia to mount an antenna mast. Have plans to use them for some additional downspout work and other small jobs. I didn't realize how useful these things would be until I got them.I don't recommend sticking you finger in these, because they _will_ cause permanent damage. But that's usually how you know if you're dealing with quality tools.

Craftsman straight metal snips
It looks like a well made product. Good price, delivered fast. They cut well. If it didn't repeatedly lock up on me, I could give it five stars. That glitch is very annoying when Im in the middle of cutting. I have small hands and I find them easy to manage. Again the lock/jam thing prevents me from seriously liking these. I would recommend for a very patient person.

SUPER sharp!
Despite its cheap price, this snipping tool is very sturdy and is super, super sharp! It has a useful guard to prevent it from accidentally opening. Also there is a measurement tool built inside of the blade. If you're looking for a cutting instrument to snip wires or even pieces of metal, this is ideal for your needs.

I cut everything with this
Well, except metal. But hey, they're probably great at that too. I cut everything with this snips. Freakin' plastic clamshells? Annihilate them. Personally, I think "f*** you," at the clamshell on each individual cut. Other plastics similarly destroyed.Does (do) your sleep partner(s) snore and keep you up? Do your earplugs stick into your brain when you side sleep? Who wulda thunk _aviation snips_ would be there to help you. You figured out you can cut your earplugs in half so they don't skull**** you from both sides, but to cut you were using a chef's knife and really marring your "way too expensive" "also from amazon" "but rated 4.8 stars" "so it must be worth it" "i'm going to cook so much more this year" cutting board. Answer: this snips cuts them with just the slightest resistance, really great grip feel. Are you trying to open one of those special Colorado "medicine candies" that's wrapped individually and so thickly that children (and small adults) can't open it? This snips punctures that you-fun prophylactic like so much latex.Get 'em. I still don't know about metal, but for everything else in life, there's these.

Excellent quality and functionality
My handyman said that he wished he would have bought these instead of the ones he purchased.

When scissors don’t cut it
I thought the tin snips were very easy to use and work great for cutting wire mesh for sifting and trying to reinforce plastic welds. I haven’t tried cutting sheet metal yet. They are also useful for cutting those plastic bindings you find from time to time to hold packaging together, much easier than scissors. Even if you don’t use them often, having one around is very useful when you need it.
