I hear it comes with a scooper - is a level scoop, rounded scoop or heaping scoop considered the 5g serving?

The scoop is 9cc, and when weighed is exactly 5g. These people saying otherwise clearly have no business taking creatine to begin with because they can't even get this part right.

Is this product vegan?

It is vegetarian according to label, and so does not contain meat or any other animal products

Where does this creatine come from?

While the vendor can change, Nutricost primarily sources from California for this ingredient. It is then prepared and packaged in Utah.

does this stuff taste as bad as the creatine ethyl ester powder

Creatine Ethyl Ester definitely has a very strong taste, but as others have mentioned, Creatine Monohydrate has a much much more subtle to no-taste.
