Absolutely Superb, never using petrol again
Boy, this is good!! Never write product reviews, but so impressed with this that I had to. Providing you can get power to where needed, then this trumps petrol chainsaws for me. Lighter, quieter, no fuel/filters/plugs maintenance and no annoying pull cord start - plus a fraction of the price! Fact you make a cut and then.... silence. Ample power, slices through trunks like hot knife through butter. Easy to assemble, sturdy quality construction, decent Oregon chain and bar. Love it.

Great Quality and Price
OK. Firstly, for the money it's an excellent saw. Very easy to set up out of the box. The chain tensioner is great. The power lead is a good length and is good quality. The saw worked well, I cut up50 or so awkward shaped logs with ease. The oiler works very well. The oil tank doesn't hold a lot so keep checking. I didn't find the sight glass too useful because it's not obvious where the level is. But, check the level and top up every 10 logs or so and you can't go wrong. Overall very pleased. A recommended saw.

Savage
Ive been using chainsaws for last 30 years, tree surgery, felling and the like. i bought this one for Cutting wood at home to run my boiler on (wood is my sole source of heating.) I've used a lot of chainsaws but never a mains electric one. Been using this one for a week. Initial impression; The saw is well made, tough, well thought out. looks good, its matt black rather than orange but I guess if you lose it in the woods you could always find your way back to it back from the power point. Good weight/balance. Oil level is visible on side of tank which is great because youre never going to check the oil when the petrol runs out. Good trobust cable of a useful length. Performance: if you are someone who often puts their foot on branches to stop them getting away while your cutting them then all that is about to change. No half measures here, the saw is either full revs or off. i don't know what the RPM is but I reckon if would scare the pants off my industrial angle grinder. It has tons of power. I mean if you used it at night you might see street lights dimming. I'm serious, I mean after a week my log pile is now just dust blowing around in the wind. Good thing is, if you did cut your leg off with it or the piece of wood youre cutting spins out of the pile and breaks your jaw there's no immediate worry about where or when to put the saw down. Soon as you let go the trigger it brakes the chain, there's no inertia at all. it's off. Just lay right back and wait until someone finds you. In a nutshell; Look out, this saw is not for pussies. if it's your first ever chainsaw....good luck.

Excellent Piece of Kit
I bought this Oregon as a quieter alternative to my trusty 14” Stihl chainsaw which I would normally use for logging. We have 2 log burners in our house as we are on expensive oil fired heating. Gas, mains drains and other marvels of the modern world didn’t quite make it down our lane. So it’s much cheaper to have wood delivered and to cut and split it ourselves. The Oregon is about the same weight as my Stihl and I’m not sure that the chain speed is quite as fast but it cuts just as quickly. I’m really impressed. It’s Oregon, so it’s good quality. The chain tensioning is similar to my Stihl, but tool less. This is a much better tensioning system than on some of the cheaper chainsaws and it doesn’t loosen up on its own with vibration. When the saw wood chippings start to get smaller and more sawdust like then it’s time for a sharpen. This is described in the manual. It’s very easy to do so first rotate the chain until you find the 2 saw teeth that are both at the same angle. This is your start point so when you get back to them again you the swap to the other side of the bar. Then with a cheap 4mm round file and a file guide you file as the manual suggests. The correct guide angle to the bar is 30°. Put a small piece of 20mm thick wood under the end of the bar and chain to steady it when you file. Just like knives, a sharp tool is much safer to use than a blunt one. Don’t be frightened to have go. This saw chain has big teeth, with plenty left over for someone else to file it correctly and put it right for you. Finally, it’s well worth taking the bar and chain off occasionally as they get clogged up with oily sawdust. Use a piece of wire or thin baby screwdriver to clean the chain channel along the whole bar as this can clog up and may stop the oil passing through in to the bar to lubricate the chain properly.

Powerful, sturdy , VFM.
Used for 8hrs now impressed with performance and build quality. Easy assembly and cleaver design of chain adjustment. Frugal oil consumption. The chain that’s included cuts well and further increases value for money on unit purchase price . Bought for use in suburban area as quieter than my petrol saw and less fumes. Pleased with my purchase.L

Excellent chainsaw
Great chainsaw. I initially purchased a little mini chainsaw to cut up fire wood and when that couldn’t do the job I bought this one. Absolutely no issue at all cutting through logs. Very light to use, very easy to assemble, I got a pre-used one from Amazon that didn’t come with instructions and I was able to assemble it and put it all together without them. Very easy to tension the chain, feels very good quality and strong.

Plenty powerful
Easy to assemble following the single page instructions ( not the booklet). The chain oil tank takes only 100ml that doesn't take long to fill so be warned. The saw is a bit heavier that expected but is well balanced, it's got plenty of power and, with it's new saw chain, makes short work of firewood prep. The saw stops instantly when the trigger is released or safety is engaged. Best thing is, you plug it in pull the trigger and it works, no more stale fuel, flooding etc etc etc one minor complaint, when you put the saw down the chain is on the ground, so make sure you have a block of wood to set it on so the chain doesn't get contaminated. Definitely worth the money and would only use a 2 stroke in an emergency.

Poor quality
We have only used this chainsaw approximately 5 times in the 2.5 years we have had it turned it on it was working one minute turned off and 5 mins later no longer working. Have checked the fuses it’s not them. Poor quality. I would expect it to last longer than 5 uses. Will not be purchasing again from this brand.
