I bought this system 2 years ago. It since it is wireless and solar powered it installs easily. It was it has worked flawlessly and displays tire pressure and temprature for each tire on the same display (no rotating display that you have to wait for each tire to display in turn) and just a quick glance tells you what you need to know and the solar charging is ample to run it during the day and all night with the back light on all the time in the dark. Setting the customizable lower and upper pressure limits, the other it has alerted me to the a slow leak in the left rear of that otherwise I had no reason to check. Finally, just a quick glace lets you know that the pressure is balanced side to side and the correct pressure front and rear before you get on the road.

After being told by my car dealer that there were no aftermarket TPMSs(Tire Pressure Monitor Systems) for my 2002 truck and spending $300 to have internal sensors installed in my 2015 car winter tire/rims, I discovered many aftermarket external TPMSs online. I could have returned my $300 internal sensors, but I decided not to because I like my car being able to monitor my summer and winter tires (on separate rims, so I only need to have the summer tires/rims swapped out with the winter tires/rims. Easy. Now, I wanted to have the external TPMS for my 2002 truck since internal sensors will not work with my truck. So I bought these. However, I wanted to have this TPMS also for my Prius as the factory internal sensors only send an alert when *only 1* of the 4 tires has *only low pressure* and no other information. It is a bit of an unnecessary pain to have to check all 4 tires for low pressure, if the low tire is not obvious, which often it is not. I decided to install this TPMS on my Prius, and I am very happy I did. Soon I will install this TPMS on my truck also. Installation was a bit of a pain, because I was playing around with all the buttons before installing the sensors and I goofed up the assignment of the sensor with the different positions they are labeled for: Front Left, Front Right, etc. I took me quite a while to reassign the sensors to their correct tires, which turned out to be very easy: just select a tire position and unscrew and rescrew the sensors. The monitor assigns that sensor to the correct position automatically. The video instructions online are spoken in Chinese (?) and the English subtitles are very minimal and nearly worthless. This needs to be addressed! Should have subtracted one star for this, but I am too happy overall with this TPMS. Both the monitor and the sensors are *much* smaller that I had expected them to be, and very happy about that. The hub caps on my Prius allow for very little room around the valve stems, but these sensors "just fit", fortunately. My box contained 4 dust caps for the sensors, but they are very thin and relatively flimsy, so I don't know if they will stand up very well to the changing seasons. As for tire pressure accuracy, I filled and checked my tires with an expensive Astro tire pressure gauge. I set them all at 38 PSI, and the TPMS monitor read all 4 perfectly at 38 PSI. Can't get much better than that! Of course the pressure changes while you drive, but that is normal. I changed the default setting from Bar and C to PSI and F. Very easy to do. It would really be nice if these sensors could be monitored while *not* driving, but I get it---that they need to conserve battery power and put them to sleep when the car is parked. You have to first drive "12.4 mph" for the sensors to activate and send their signals to the monitor. The monitor activates automatically when receiving signals from the sensors; so you don't have to turn it on every time you drive. The backlight also activates automatically in low light. I decided initially to not install the brass nuts used to supposedly secure the sensors tighter. Due the different in the brass nuts and my aluminum(?) valve stem, I am concerned about galvanic corrosion over time. On the other hand, it appears the the female connector on the sensor is also made of brass, so there might be corrosion anyway. Hmmmm, so I might install the brass nuts later, since leaving them off might not make any difference. The sensors do seem to be very snug when tightened down by themselves, with any air leaks. You cannot set the high and low pressure limits independently for all 4 tires. You set the *front* tires limits, then you can set the *rear* tires limits and then the spare tire limits. That works for me because the readings from the 4 tires are still *read independently*, telling you exactly which tire has dropped before whatever limits were set. According the another review this model is the latest, a monochrome display replacing the older, apparently faulty color display. OK. Actually, a color display could be distracting while sitting on my dash. I am hoping I will never need the USB cable to power the monitor. (The instructions say to charge the monitor with the USB cable before using the first time. OK; I did that. My manual says that it can "Monitor up to 7 tires." I don't know how that would be set up. I plan to install this TPMS on my 4-wheel truck soon. I also have a 2-wheel RV that I tow with the truck. When I do that, I will simply take 2 of the sensors off of my car and put them on the RV! Summary: I am quite happy with this TPMS, and if it holds up over the years it will be one of the best accessories I have ever bought for my car and truck/RV. To be able to monitor even just the air pressure and have an alarm go off if the pressure drops below the programmable limits I set is just great.

So far its pretty good, customer service was like a 2/5 if that. Set up wasn't too difficult but I accidentally set one of my car tires to the trailer section and had to call customer service 4x to get it resolved. They sent me a youtube video how to reset it, but for some reason couldn't tell me on the phone how to do it(they told me to take all the sensors off and turn it off for 15 min which did nothing) but once I got it reset it was easy to set up and I like the display. I will be keeping it on a charger, battery life without a charger so far seems good.

I've been looking at TPMS sensors and displays for some time but can't afford most of what I've found or been recommended. While not the least expensive this Tymate unit had mostly good reviews at a price I could afford. My first use was on a recent trip to central Washington in the early July heat and the product performed flawlessly and certainly met my expectations. Set up was easy and the included "Anti-slip Mat" to hold the display on the dash worked very well. It does take a few minutes for the monitor to reconnect with the sensors after having been turned off. The displayed data appears to be accurate, and it provided me a level of comfort I was looking for. I did notice that the tires on the sunny side of the travel trailer ran hotter than the shaded side so that is something to bear in mind. As a note the ambient temperatures on our trip ranged between 75° and 95°. The tire pressures elevated by about 10 psi and the temps ran about 90° - 100°. The lack of a backlight for the display is my only complaint but it fit my budget and met or exceeded my other expectations. I highly recommend this product.

TLDR: Great little unit with a fatal flaw that it does not show you when the signal is lost. It's useless. I had high hopes for this little TPMS. It's exactly the size, design, and solar recharging I wanted - it would sit on the dash without extra charging cables. It was easy to set up and use. It was perfect, especially for the price! Unfortunately, I discovered a major flaw for a TPMS - You will not get a "loss of signal" alarm in the case of sensor failure! The day I set up the system, I had the unit on my dashboard as I drove away from my trailer. For 90 minutes, the unit showed the last reading, with no indication that I was miles from the trailer! Over the next few days, I tried this experiment four times with up to two hours of no alarm after signal loss. The instructions and sales page say it has a "loss of signal" alarm, so, thinking I had a bad unit, I contacted support. After some back and forth, they related that this is normal for their units. I fully understand that the systems poll status every few minutes, and a delay that long is acceptable, but 90 minutes without a signal loss alarm is ridiculous and actually dangerous. Signal loss alarms are an essential part of a TPMS, so you know your display is actually showing current conditions. Without a timely (within a few minutes) signal loss alarm, it's worse than not using a TPMS at all because you think everything is fine. Your tire could easily overheat, delaminate, and damage your vehicle in that hour without obvious signs. Without a timely signal loss alarm, this system is useless, and I will return it. I recommend you do the same. On a side note, if you ever lose one of the sensors, you can't simply replace it with another and program the system to show it in the new position. They are hard-wired in the system for a specific position. (That makes it easy to set up, but the downside is getting a replacement sensor.)

Towing the camper now with less stress. Easy to install easy to pair. Connect fast after powering up thr home unit again.

Pros: 1. Main unit/repeater and the sensors seem well built and I didn't have a problem installing those components. I have a 23 foot trailer and the main unit is at least 16 feet away from the sensors and the connection with the repeater works great. 2. The unit seems to work accurately but you need to be moving to get updated readings but there are many caveats and frustrations( discussed later). 3. The solar charger and manual plug in for the master unit works great and really nice. 4. The semi-sticky dash pad is nice and a must to keep this thing in line of site 5. The main unit LCD screen has plenty of size and could be far far easier to use Cons: (I really need this thing but frequently tempted to throw it out the window at times) 1. You better keep the manual close by at all times because the interface and operations are NOT intuitive at all. You need to sit in detail with the manual and set up your thresholds for alarms on temp, pressure and adjusting scales of measurements aka (Farenheit vs Celcius and PSI vs Bar). 2. Once set it seems to work but it also chirps and beeps at times that i don't understand making it very annoying sometimes to know if something is truly wrong or its just beeping for a temporary condition... So i tend to just cancel the alerts and just keep it in line of site and check it from time to time. 3. You don't get real pressure readouts until you're tires are moving by design(Which the seller even emailed me about so you don't think its not working once installed).... And if you do get a readout while idle or just starting it up, it may be the last one the unit remembered and not a current reading which is another confusing point (Its not clear sometimes if it is showing a previous reading vs a current reading) I think it has to do with the sensor design and maximizing battery life... I think it uses tire rotation to actually engage the battery for operations and when the tires are stopped the sensors are unpowered halting the needless continuous transmission to the main unit. 4. Because you must be moving to get a reading you cannot take a pressure reading before you pullout on a trip unless you uninstall and reinstall the sensors which is a bit of a pain (keep your little tools close by as well as its not just twisting them off it has a lock nut). Otherwise you would have to drive get a reading, and if its low pull over and then put air in the tires on the road (Aka not desirable)... Would be VERY nice if you could tap the once sensor while stationary just to get a current pressure reading to the main unit. 5. It comes with dust caps for the sensors but there is absolutely squat about them in the manual as to when/if we should use them and the proper way to put them on... the install instructions says zilch about them. 6. If you are not using all the sensors like i am(single axle) its even more confusing... as there doesn't seem to be a way to inform the unit you are only using 2 of the 4 sensors So this makes the already cumbersome interface difficult to read and perhaps that is why it chirps sometimes because it chirps out of the blue when in "alert" mode... 7. I've accidentally long hit a button and it went into a "weird mode that had unreadable characters on it" and i finally got back after hitting another button a long time and playing with it. ** The functionality of this even if partial and frustrating is worth it to me still... if i'm driving long distance and i occasionally see the PSI fluctuate a couple pounds due to getting warmer or colder i know its working and doing its them and i know what the temp readings are which is the basic safety features i'm really after... I think the UI could be 50 times easier than it is. I would be ok with the 1x tedious setup but the status display needs entirely redone along with how and what the unit alerts about is not intuitive... How about something VERY simple like flashing simple messages from a small library of phrases every few seconds like this 1. Last read 3 seconds ago 2. PSI: FR 65, FL 64, RR NA, RL NA 3. Temp(F): FR 80, FL 82, RR NA, RL NA 4. Alert PSI: FR 59 5. Alert Temp(F): RR 180 6. Monitoring Paused/Disabled * And that's it... super simple

This is a must have, if your vehicle doesn't have TPMS. This is an excellent product, works well, very easy to install.

I bought these to confirm I have a VERY slow leak in one tyre. They install very simply in only a few minutes. The solar panel keeps the battery topped up well, I don't know how long the batteries on the tyres will last yet. The alarm is un-missable. When I got into the car after the tyre was leaking, the alarm started beeping quite loud to let me know one of the tyres was under inflated. Once I topped it up the alarm stopped. Also when when I unscrewed the cap to top it up the alarm sounds to let you know it's not installed. The display is clear and simple and tells you everything you need to know at a glance. I didn't know that tyre pressures increase when driving, as well as the tyre temperature increases (which should be obvious, now I think about it!). The system looks after itself and all you need is a quick glance to check everything is ok. I think its peace of mind that makes this such a useful product. Btw my car is a 2009 VW Polo, which is why it doesn't have this built in like a lot of never cars. I would highly recommend this to anyone to save time and give you peace of mind before driving.
