I have caught gophers on my sticky-traps with cashews and almonds. They are quite strong but the trap holds on to them. I read the container and it does not mention one way or the other if it is toxic. The insect sticks on the pads and die because they can not get off. I have seen a mouse eat around the pad and able to get off the pad. Now, what happens to the mouse after I don't know because these things are extremely sticky. Great for spiders and even slinks and other crawly insects. **Q: I wanted scent free and accidentally got peanut butter. will silverfish be attracted to these? will roac from neighboring apartments be drawn to them?** A: Roaches are drawn to probably everything. Not sure if silverfish like peanut butter. Never seen one but started finding things did not know what to buy besides mouse traps with children and pets did not want mouse traps anywhere around, so I tried this product to find out actually within hours of putting it out that I did have mice 🐁 By the picture on the box. I wasn’t sure if it would actually catch mice. I ended up catching mice. That is some sticky stuff that will catch anything as soon as it steps foot on it. And very easy to clean up just pick it up and throw it in the garbage. I was very surprised and it worked so well that once I knew I caught all the mice.
