Got this to replace one that broke. The previous one is from a well known brand. This one feels less sturdy but for now it is doing the job.

Great quality for the price. Easily adjustable and feels secure on the violin. The foam padding is a little firm and thin compared to a more expensive rest, but is still comfortable to use. The mute also works well.

Easy to fit and makes holding the violin easier. Would recommend.

Why did you choose this product over others?: I chose the violin shoulder rest because it matched well with my violin and is well constructed. It is comfortable to use helping me build my confidence in playing my violin.

It’s a good quality item but I sent it back as it didn’t suit my style of playing - I hold the fiddle a bit lower and forward on the collarbone compared to the standard / classical position (I play old time American) which means the curvature of the rest doesn’t quite work for me. Other than that it is well made and should otherwise be comfortable so would recommend if it suits the way you would hold the fiddle..

Si quieres tocar como Paganini, practica y déjate de historias, esto no es más que una almohadilla. Más cómodo es, está claro, y cumple su función a la perfección. Aunque mi violín sigue sonando igual que un gato en celo. Por suerte incluye una sordina y mis vecinos no llaman a Dimitri para que me parta las manos con tanta frecuencia.
