I’ve gotten a pink mold that looked very similar to this one and it was awful. The bottom eye was very distorted. I had doubts but read another review saying to get the blue mold and not the pink mold. I figured I’d try this one out, nothing to lose. This one came out perfectly! I put some clay in, stuck it in the freezer for a minute and it popped out no problem! Can’t wait to make tons of babies with this mold!

Love this mold! I just used plain fondant, I first dusted the mold with some powdered sugar (aka as confectioners sugar, icing sugar) then I turned the mold over and tapped out the excess sugar so it would not settle into the fine details. I have not tried it without the powdered sugar to see if it would stick without it. After pushing all of the fondant into the mold, and making sure I got it in there good, I placed it in the freezer for about 5 minutes, and the baby came out of the mold fine! Before you start to work on it, make sure you inspect the face just to make sure every detail came out fine. One important tip to remember: Make sure you roll the fondant in your hand to smooth it out until there are no lines or wrinkles in it, then place the smooth side of the fondant or what ever you are using into the mold. This was perfect for a bbshower cake. I used fondant & The mold worked great and was easy to use. Sturdy and the baby came out very realistic but cute sleeping baby not a creepy look. Def recommend.

This baby mold worked great for a gender reveal cake I made last month. I used gumpaste, and petal dusts to help bring out the details.

I was making a cake for my daughter's baby shower. I'd never really used silicone molds before in my baking, but decided to give this a try. Honestly, when I saw it, my first impression was, "How on earth is this going to look like a baby?!" But, it is a perfect, detailed baby mold. For those who have never used a mold before, you just press the fondant into the mold and pull it right back out. Voila! It was a big hit!

Absolutely perfection! I have a lot of molds and there is always something off, whether it be an ear or fingers. This mold was absolutely amazing. Very pleased and will be order more!
