Y303836 - FACTORY OEM GENUINE CLOTHES DRYER BLOWER WHEEL W/CLAMP FOR MAYTAG AMANA ADMIRAL (This is OEM Factory Genuine Part - Not a generic replaceme

Arrived on time and worked as designed. Easy to install. The only suggestion I would have for the manufacturer is they include a half moon locking key that attaches to the shaft. My old one had this key but the new one did not and it came loose after about a week using the clamp provided. I went back in to the dryer, readjusted the fan, went to local hardware store and bought the key (about 99 cents) and have had no issues since.

Thew dryer came when the house was purchased so do not really know history before then but we used the dryer for five years before having to replace this part. This replacement lasted 20 months before breaking. I supposed that isn't too bad since we do use the dryer a lot due to family size but I would have expected it to last longer given it is supposedly factory OEM. I replaced this one with different brand that is approximately the same cost but came with a new clamp.

Great price and exactly what I hoped for.Part is exactly as factory designed.So its price and what I expect for durability is whatMaytag designed it to do... break after a short period of time!This one is still working after one year.

The plastic dryer blower fan wheel was well made and fit well but the packaging did not prevent one of the blades from being broken. The packaging needs to provide better protection for the part.

Bought this in Sept of 2017, had the Maytag stamp on it as advertised. Just broke after 5 months. This broke where the last one did, right where the collar attaches to the wheel. Had to order another, and they are a pain to install. I made a flat aluminum plate and collar to rivet to the broken wheel, it will probably outlast the dryer now. If this is genuine OEM, (I believe it is), it is not constructed of the same material that was in the original dryers, as that one lasted 10 years.

My Maytag dryer was making a rumbling sound and a local serviceman wanted about $65 for this blower drum plus $120 labor. Saved me a bundle of money on this moderately easy job of replacing this part myself. Found out how to do it on Youtube.

Maytag dryer took forever to dry, making loud noise... Works perfect after installed. The part here is 3-12913 and it's imprinted on the product, but the box said Y303836 on the outside. I guess they are the same. Search for Y303836, cost a little less. This part is very easy to install. Should search/watch youtube for how to!!!

Used in combination with video and it took five minutes to complete the repair. No more noise and my wife is happy. I am also glad I don’t need to replace a perfectly good dryer.

Not a fault of the supplier but rather the manufacturer.The plastic used to make this blower wheel tends to be very brittle. During my attempts to install the first one I purchased the metal spring clip slipped out of my locking pliers and broke one of the "tangs" off of the center hub/shaft collar rendering it useless.

Just be sure when you position it in place that you don't push it all the way to the back where it rubs. Pull it out slightly and allow it to free wheel so it will last a lot longer.
