Great robust flavor, and at half the price of what I was buying before.

I continually search for coffee that satisfies my need for good coffee. Happy Belly French roast hits the spot. I need coffee that is dark,strong,smooth,with intense flavor.It doesn't hurt that it is a great value. With the price of coffee being so expensive, try this one, I believe you will be glad you did.

I’ve been using the Amazon Brand Happy Belly Dark Roast pods as my daily driver for a few weeks, and they’ve become my go‑to for a couple simple reasons: I can get two solid 12 oz cups out of one pod without the second one tasting watery, and my parents (who drink exclusive Starbies K-cups and don’t like other brands, like this brand!) How I use them • Brew setting: 12 oz • First cup: with cream • Second cup: black The dark roast has a smooth, chocolatey base with a light smoky/roasty edge. At 12 oz it’s still bold enough that adding cream doesn’t turn it into “coffee milk.” It’s a classic dark‑roast profile: low acidity, full body, and easy to drink first thing in the morning. Second cup (black) This is where these pods really stand out. The second pass is not weak – it’s still a legitimate dark coffee. The flavor shifts a bit more toward mellow cocoa and toast, with less of the initial roast punch, but it’s absolutely fine to drink black. No sourness, no burnt taste, just a smooth, steady cup. Pros •Strong enough to brew twice on 12 oz and still taste like real coffee •Great value per cup, especially if you double up like I do •Smooth, bold dark roast that works well with cream or black •Low acidity, easy on the stomach (unlike the Colombian) •100‑count box lasts a while and is easy to restock on Amazon Cons •Not a “specialty” coffee – it’s a straightforward, mass‑market dark roast •Very dark‑roast forward; if you like bright or fruity notes, this isn’t that •No roast date on the box, so freshness depends on Amazon’s turnover Bottom line Why I gave it 4 stars - honestly, if you’re willing to try something more economical this is a good option. If you drink back to back cups like I do, it’s a good idea. I gave it 4 stars because the smaller 6/8/10 didn’t seem much stronger. Not that might be a machine issue and not product issue.

Great coffee! Great price. Quality is very good. Originally I purchased the light but found it way too light for my taste so ordered the French Roast this time. Love the flavor. I use 9 oz of water as it's too strong otherwise. It's nutty and a bit sweet. This time I ordered the 24 count instead of the 100 count for 2 reasons. The first to make sure I liked the flavor and secondly because when ordering the 100 count (which I did with the light) the k-cups are delivered loose in the box. I won't buy in bulk ever again until Amazon changes that.

Better than expected . Vert rich and good boldflavor . Not a weak coffee . A nice surprise.

This French Roast seems bitter to the taste, compared to other K-Cups I have purchased. I will not reorder this product.
