strong action and good quality
used in a project to launch footballs. I used with a cheap amazon car alarm for activation and they work perfectly. Highest quality and quick delivery.

Good powerful solenoid
This solenoid really packs a punch and is ok with a higher voltage (I am using 50V in a 40ms pulse every 2.4 seconds). It will overheat and burn out or even cause a fire if activated for too long at a time so be warned. It is only good for a very low duty cycle. It was perfect though for operating a bell striking mechanism for an electrically driven clock which now strikes the hours loud and clear. I had tried other solenoids but none could operate it satisfactorily. It has an O ring on one end which cushions it but I had to fit one the other end too. The brass nut has a locknut behind it and also has thread locking compound on it too so care is needed when undoing it but it didn’t put up much resistance to being undone.

works well
Did what we needed it to but very powerful for smaller projects.

Strong, well built
Meaty solenoid and very powerful.

Powerful
Tried a few others but didn't have enough force, I'm using these to open a cupboard door and they work perfectly so far. They get a bit warm but seems to be within running temp.

i didn't check the measurements before I ordered this, so its too big for my intended purpose, but I can't say no to this beefed up hunk of a solenoid motor. The stroke is hard and fierce. POW

Gutless to the point of being a waste of money
The only time this operates correctly is when it is completely unloaded.Additionally, the manufacturer has decided to glue the head nut on with red loctite- so have fun nearly shearing the rod trying to get that undone in order to actually attach this heap to anything.Waste of money, in fact it's now costing me money because I can't complete the job. Furious doesn't cover it.

Reasonable power
Stronger than many out there but obviously a bit more expensive. Any sort of resistance is generally a problem. Suitable for homemade hot-wheels starting gates.
