At some point, I just decided that it was too painful and I was not into the hassle. These bands are so comfortable and the workout that I get even on the starting band is amazing. I recommend these to anyone that wants to work out and activate the glutes (it also makes you tighten and pull through your core) that hates those thin rubber bands. The yellow is the longest and I found worked best for floor exercises, the purple is medium length and great for most exercises if unsure which to choose, and the pink is the shortest and perfect for squatting or seated exercises.
