The audio quality is completely muffled. While tapes aren't exactly the best for sound quality there is at least some sort of standard but this cassette player doesn't even come halfway to it. I'm not too fussy with some background noise, slightly muffled sound or scratchiness. In fact, I expected it for such a low price. However this is an absolute waste of money. The flaws are impossible to ignore. It's especially noticeable with the singing. Sounds like the singer is taking a bumpy ride.
