Hausse 16.5ft Bird Spikes, Squirrel Small Birds Pigeons Repellent Spikes for Outdoor, Wall, Fence (Set of 12)

I was so impressed I purchased a second set. No more squirrels (and other rodents) running on my roof and jumping off on to my 6 foot wood fences. My neighborhood is over run with squirrels but now I guess they are over visiting my neighbors. Super easy to install using only 2 small screws thru the pre-drilled holes in each strip. Squirrels once used my fences as their freeway. NOT ANY MORE!! It is actually entertaining watching the squirrels try to get around the spike strips even to the point of hanging on sideways on the fence top until they fall off and have to run on the ground.

These are a joke. The squirrels walk right on them. I have a vinyl fence and put them on the top of three panels in a row. Watched a squirrel gingerly walk over all 3 panels of the fence that had the spike strips on them. Birds land on them too. Not effective at all.

i use these on top of the bird feeder to keep squirrels from jumping directly on the top of the feeder then bending down to steal the seeds lol. Squirrels will find a way but these plastic spikes are just spikey enough that they can't just jump on the feeder anymore. They still find ways to hang on to the edge of the feeder but now they cant hang on forever so it's good enough. Birds were scared for about a week but they're coming back.

I purchased this to deter sparrows from building a nest in our retractable awning and it does not appear to be working. They are doing their best to build another. I have been removing nesting material every day.

I don’t know if it repels birds, but they did NOT repel or deter a snake from getting to the birds next on my front porch. In their defense, nothing did. I placed “snake moth balls” and balled up bird netting and the snake didn’t hesitate to kill the baby birds. I also punctured my thumb while trying to press down on the strips to ensure they had adhered to the double sided tape I had to add to the strips. Product does not include double sided tape.

These were easy to install (although including screws or double sided tape would be a good addition). But for the product itself, it seems well made and should be effective. The breakaway sections made it very easy to fit into the space I needed. Now I’ll have to wait until spring to see if these Robins will stop making their home above my front entry door!

Product was easy to use. I used double stick tape on stead of nailing down so I didn’t put holes in my pergola. This product did not work for me. As you can see from the picture the birds still landed and stayed on spikes. These may work better for bigger birds. Now I have made it easier for the birds to make a nest where I don’t want them since the spikes holds the debris in place.

These can be separated into 3 sections per "stick". I used some short stainless steel screws I had laying around to attach them to my deck railings and bar style deck gate. The only draw back is the points are quite sharp, do not lean or sit on them. These definitely keep the ducks and chickens off my deck railing and so I don't have to hose of the poop 2-3 times a day. I also have not seen any squirrels using the railing to get to the dog dishes since I put them up, but there is no positive evidence like lack of dropping. If you are looking for a low visibility and not too costly way, these will do the job.

Couldn’t stop the rats.

This product does not spot squirrels at all....they run right across it many times. Not worth buying.
