Cheap made--broke while screwing in.
The very first hook broke while installing. We used another brand.

Like the size of these hooks!On installation, two out of 12 installed hooks broke between the threaded part and the hook. So they are not strong enough to screw into harder wood even with pre-drilling. i was putting them into the underside of a cabinet to act as cup hooks for wide handled coffee cups. The fact that they broke and then of course the metal screw part is stuck in the hole needed for even placement. Probably would not matter if you are using them for outdoor applications like holding light strings where moving placement a half inch won’t matter. I would order them again based on the wider hook (which I could not find elsewhere) but maybe make a larger predrilled hole nased on this experience.
