My son loves playing with them. The only issue he has is that some of the edges are a little rough, so they scratch his face when he takes them on and off. He is very young, under two, so he doesn't yet have the finesse needed. They don't cut him or anything, but do leave red lines on his face for a while where the material scratches him. I have cut and rounded off a few areas as we find them and that helps.
