As a parent, I'm always on the lookout for quality, durable toys and sports equipment for my kids, and the LaScoota Kick Scooter definitely fits the bill. After several weeks of use, I'm impressed enough to leave this review - something I don't do often!Pros:Versatile for Various Ages: The scooter is marketed for kids aged 6+, but even teens and adults can enjoy it. This versatility makes it a great buy for families. My 9-year-old and 10-year-old both ride it comfortably. I have even used it several times.Sturdy Build: The construction is solid. It doesn't feel flimsy or cheap, which is a relief considering how rough kids can be. The frame is robust and has endured quite a few bumps and drops already.Smooth Ride: The 8" urethane wheels make a noticeable difference. They glide smoothly on different terrains – from pavements to slightly rougher park paths. I got the yellow Teen sized scooter. The yellow is a nice almost safety yellow color, though not quite as bright. The visibility is great!The size is perfect for me at 5'4 120 pounds and a size 7 womens' shoe. If your feet are larger or you are over 150 pounds, I'd suggest sizing up to the adult size.It rides nice. Easy to handle and can pick up some decent speed. It is very lightweight (less than 10 pounds) so I was worried it would feel chinzy, but it's pretty solid. Not like a heavy electric scooter, but great for the weight.It's so easy to fold up and take with you! I use it for quick trips to the store and sometimes, instead of locking it up outside, I just carry it in with me. It's also great for the gym.It's absolutely perfect for public transportation. I live just far enough from a SunRail station that walking takes too long, but driving and parking is a pain. Not only does this make getting there quicker, but (unlike a bike) i can fold it up and sit anywhere. Whith a bike I have to stay on the bottom of the train.This was a really great buy!

Ok, had it about a month now. Got about 20 miles on it. Got it for an alternate to jogging and arthritic knees. Warning: first scooter for me since childhood.Cons: no suspension; with the polyurethane wheels, I feel every little bump and sidewalk crack. I thought the headset was loose but it turns out the folding lock mechanism (pic 2) has a little bit of front/back play, only noticeable when standing still. The downtube stop (pic3), just behind the front wheel was installed backwards with the countersunk hole in the back of the rubber spacer. Believe this was intentional to prevent complaints about the lock not releasing because properly installed, the stop should have a slight backward pressure on the downtube. To release the lock, push the handlebars forward and voila!Pros: plenty of room for my size 10 feet; glides very well; well made and holding up well so far; rear brake works fine when you need it; I don't fold it so have encountered no probs with the folding mechanism; also no probs with surface changes, bumps, etc., with large wheels.While it looks like the cons outweigh the pros, they are all minor and except for the suspension, all easily fixed.For the price, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

I bought two of these scooters for my 6 and 8 year old daughters in different colors. It seems that the different colors may also be slightly different models- which I didn't realize sooner. Its not a deal breaker as these beautiful, sturdy and easy to maneuver scooters were the perfect introduction to two wheeled scooters. I know that the girls will continue to enjoy them for years to come because they just look sooo cool. Also, I can ride the scooter when one of them gets tired... and its actually an enjoyable experience. So, for the one unexpected issue (very small issue I would not have noticed had I not also received a more updated model)... The light blue one has a locking mechanism which you can toggle to engage/ disengage the button used to collapse the scooter. The button was easier to push and my 6 year old can fold and unfold on her own. Unfortunately, the plum colored one only has a VERY hard to push red button that needs to be slid up in order to collapse the scooter. My 8 year old is often disappointed that she cannot close the thing on her own and to be honest, it's quite difficult for me to fold down as well (the button is very hard to compress). I really don't think we would have even noticed had we not had a direct comparison to an easier to collapse model. All around FANTASTIC product though and I would not hesitate to buy again. Its fun that other adults stop me to ask me where I got this cool looking scooter (it has kind of a retro vespa like vibe- very cool).

Scooter is good and solid, but the foot board is too high I believe this size is standard 7.9 " even for adult it is too high Your left foot has to go down a lot to propel the scooter forward. I think the part that attaches the handle par to the foot board needs to be longer, so it might be a design issue. We had the scooter for over 2 years so can't return it, but I'll try to install smaller wheels to bring the deck dow.

I am a mom, and I just introduced scooters to my kids. They can now handle them good enough that I would like to join them when I take them out. I've never used a scooter before so I did a lot of research. I want a foldable one that I can use and that one day my kids will use too. I narrowed down to the A6, A5, and this one. I decided on this one when I found a promo. It came in a big box that I thought I was going to regret the purchase due to size. It is long, but I didn't mind it that much after seeing how easy it was to get it ready to use. It required no assembly. I just clicked on a few things and it unfolded, handle bars up and I was ready to step on it. It is bit heavy but it is solid. I like the spacious platform and carry strap. The ride was smooth and being a first time rider, I had no trouble directing it and braking on it. I found a good height for me. I now can speed with my kids and join in on the fun. It looks like it will last. I will update this review once I get used to riding it.

I love everything about this scooter! It is already assembled when you get it so you can instantly use it instead of spending an hour putting it together. The color scheme is really cool since it’s many colors instead of just the usual black or white. The adjustable handle bars make it nice for kids since they can be adjusted 3 different times as they grow. The button for folding it is super easy to use and let’s you fold the scooter in less than 10 seconds. The adjustable shoulder strap is nice. A lot of scooters don’t even come with one and you have to spend extra to get one. This one is very strong and is adjustable as well. And to top it off it has a kickstand. So instead of trying to find a place to prop it up or laying it on the floor the kickstand lets you park it where you want. This scooter is so much nicer than the old one I got for my daughter and it is definitely worth every penny!!

Works well! No complaints here. Reminds me when I was younger with my Razor Scooter. Pretty great and beautiful color. Does scratch decently easy, but I don’t mind.

Bluedart, the courier assigned by Amazon took 10 days to claim the item from customs. It was cleared by customs on 25th June and Bluedart picked it up on 6th June for delivery. How irresponsible.The item is ok, as described by the seller
