This was a very cost effective way to makeover the interior of a Model Y. As I had hoped, the dash trim comes in a single piece and therefore there is no ugly seam in the middle. (Some of the earlier reviews mentioned the dash trim coming in two pieces). Although it is NOT true carbon fiber, it is molded with the tactile feel of carbon fiber mesh. I was dreading the possibility that it would be just a printed pattern with a smooth feel which would have looked kinda tacky. This looks great.Overall, installation was a breeze. The door trims fit well (pro tip, line up the pointy end first). There is a minor fitment issue with the dash trim. The trim seems a tad short so that one of the end caps bows out slightly. It is really not visible. I'll hit it later with a hair dryer.The pieces come pre-installed with thin 3M double sided tape. I wish I ordered some additional 3M tape before installation. This would have given me some peace of mind having read of cases of the trim pieces coming off.I am overall very pleased with this purchase. Time will tell if this holds up.

I dislike the woodgrain look of the dash trim and have been searching for a cost effective 1 piece dash trim cover for quite some time. Most of the Tesla branded stores have them, but they cost hundreds of dollars and look exactly like the plastic carbon fiber cheaper 2 piece solutions. I had low expectations with this product, but figured for the price I'd might as well try it. And I'm happy to confirm that the 1 piece dashboard trim cover fits perfectly. I have a 2024 Model Y Performance. It looks really great with the 1 piece carbon fiber dashboard trim cover!

I would rate the ease of installation and looks of this five stars, except it is still a little glossy in heavy sunshine areas like Florida where I live. But much better than the white strip it covers up. One of my biggest issues the Model 3, was backing up and not being able to see anything in the mirrors due to the white glare.This strip cuts that glare by about 66% over the white strip in my experience, which is enough to back into my garage without making a $500 mistake sideswiping into something. Even with the backup camera, I had to stop backing in due to the mirrors being unusable in the bright sun. In a perfect world, if they made one less glossy like the vinyl carbon fiber ones i bought for the center console, I would buy that instead. If you are up north it is probably a non issue as they make the car look look great even with a heavy glossy look (but then again, so did the white strip).

I placed the two pieces of the cover on my dash to do a fit test prior to installation. Setting the pieces into place, there was about a 2-3 millimeter gap between the two pieces. I then squeezed the pieces together as best as I could - I was only able to eliminate maybe 1 mm from the gap, leaving a 1-2 mm gap with force to hold the pieces into place.I don't see how this set is assembled without a gap. Upon further review of the Questions and Answers as well as the Customer Reviews, I'm left to conclude that either the manufacturing process has changed recently or I received an item that should not have passed quality control.I will be seeking an exchange of a faulty product or a refund for a falsely advertised item.

I have a 2021 MYLR, white interior.For $50, this product is a great value. It looks beautiful. Adds a bit of lux and wow factor to the interior.W the white interior, the OEM dash is white. So during daytime driving, it reflects the suns light towards the drivers eyes. The glare/reflection is very uncomfortable. But now with this Matte carbon fiber trim covering the white dash, there’s no reflection into the drivers eyes. It’s amazing how much of a difference this makes. Driving now is just more relaxing.If there’s one small negative is that the two pieces do not fit flush when joining in the middle. There’s about a 1/8 inch gap between the two pieces. It is hidden behind the touchscreen, but it is noticeable from certain angles. Especially if you have the white dash. Kinda jumps out.My fix was to cut one inch strip of black paper, stick it onto a strip of black electrical tape, fold it in half (black paper side out), and use it to “hide” the gap. You can see it in my second pic.The trick is - you have to install the first dash piece first. Then tuck the black strip slightly under it. Then lay the second dash piece over it.Overall, this product bats way above its $50 price tag. Great value
