Perfect for Warm Water Diving — Great Value for the Price
Picked up this Seaskin 3mm shorty wetsuit for a scuba diving trip to Key Largo and it performed great in the warm Florida Keys water. The fit was comfortable and the 3mm thickness was perfect for the water temperature — kept me comfortable on back to back dives without overheating. The front zip design makes getting in and out of the suit quick and easy — especially appreciated after a long dive when you're tired. The construction feels solid with no obvious weak points in the seams and the neoprene is flexible enough to move freely underwater without restriction. The full body coverage provides good protection against jellyfish, coral scrapes, and sun exposure on the surface. The suit held up well through multiple dives and rinsed clean easily with fresh water afterward. For the price this suit is exceptional value. If you're diving in warm water conditions and looking for a quality 3mm shorty without spending a fortune — this is a great option. Would definitely recommend for recreational divers heading to warm water destinations.

Shorty perfect size easy on & off
This is my first wetsuit 3mm shorty, my wife has owned several for diving and triathlons, we bought two one each with me ordering a large and extra large for fitting purposes, the XL was delayed a couple days. I ended up canceling the XL order as the Large fit great. My initial thoughts the stitching is ok we will see how long it lasts, great value for the money.Putting the suit on I was like wow that was easy. I zipped it up a bit and stepped into it, put arms in and zipped all the way up on the Large and it was a perfect fit at 5'7 180, 46.5" chest, 43" hips, 36" waist. My wife did the same, though she had extra material around her mid section as she is an athlete and athletic build but was fine with it and didn't affect the wetsuit performance in cold water. If you have a bit of a mid section these will fit you fine order to waist / chest size, I was between sizes L/XL and Large fit me well not too tight and with a long torso no compression from the suit on shoulders down. If you have an athletic build maybe consider a different brand as this seems to have a bit of extra material for mid section. We did our first dive in them at Sand Hollow State Park in Utah, air temp was 101 F surface water temp was 74 F, thermocline at ~30' deep was a cool 58 F, a bit colder at the bottom at 53' deep. Our longest dive was 41 minutes, we spent about 16 minutes below 30'. The wetsuit worked great kept our core warm, easy to swim / snorkel in. To take off, unzip and one leg steps out super easy. We did over 5 dives in two days and are super pleased with the wetsuit performance even at depth in some cold water.Everyone else was diving in a full 7mm wetsuit, we just laughed watching them pull, twist, turn trying to get them on or struggle swimming on the surface to the dive area. At least three people ordered these same wetsuits after watching us.We are looking forward to our cruise and diving the Caribbean in them.

Great for the price.
I’m 6’0, 210, athletic build. Bought the XL, it fit like a glove, but bunches a little in the stomach due the zipper being in the front. If you have a belly purchase a size larger. The suit came as advertised, without any defects. Zippers seam good quality, and suit kept my core warm swimming in pool water at 68f. Easy to get on & off, and I’d purchase again. Great suit for the money.

Quality at a good price....
I purchased this, my first wetsuit, as an alternative to chest waders. I am working in three to five feet of water while repairing a 250ft. pier that was damaged by one of this years hurricanes in Pass Christian Mississippi. The water has remained unusually cold this year making it extremely difficult to remain in the water for very long. I have used chest waders many times in the past, always having to replace them due to leaks, as well as being clumsy to work in and always limiting the depth of water that you can enter. Not to mention that they are more expensive than this wetsuit! I always thought that a wetsuit would be ridiculously expensive until I finally did my homework. The SeaSkin suit that I finally decided on was an immediate success. Admittedly, it was tough trying to figure my correct size when I looked over the size chart. My waist was listed as a small, my chest was a large, and my height was a medium. I decided to split the difference and settled on a medium, knowing that it should fit snug, and to my delight it fit perfect! It arrived in two days. I wore a pair of dri fit nylon boxer briefs and a dri fit sleeveless undershirt unerneath the wetsuit. Just as I researched, it was snug enough to let in just enough water to create a warm insulation between the suit and my body, without letting water rush in and out. Perfect! I spent my first day in the suit installing PEX line underneath the pier to run water to the fish cleaning station and unlike being in waders my freedom of movement was great and I was WARM! The only place that it was a little tight was under my arms, but it was minimal. Later in the day, I wore the suit to fish from my kayak and again, perfect! This was a great purchase and one that I should have made a long time ago! I may purchase the full length suit for colder water earlier next year.

Poor size QA control
Poor manufacturing quality control. The XL fit me OK but I figured the 2XL would fit me better, well I was wrong because the 2XL fits me SMALLER than the XL! Yes I triple checked to make sure I was reading the tags correctly. The front zipper is cool and I wanted to like this wetsuit but there is no Velcro to help keep the zipper in place like in typical wetsuits which have either 1 or even 2 layers of Velcro for security. I didn't get into the water with it because I wasn't going to return something I used in that way so I can't say for certain but the front zipper doesn't seem as secure as the traditional backside zipper.

Good value for money. Sizing Chart In Photos Accurate
Bought this based on the requirement we have one for a trip to Galapagos. As I am not an avid snorkeler and this item will likely be used infrequently, price was a significant consideration. Overall, I was very happy with this. Purchased a Men’s Medium based on the size chart and that fit well. Snug enough without being restrictive. Very easy to put on and take off. Zipper was rugged. Worked very well in the water. Added more buoyancy than anticipated to the point I barely needed the Personal Flotation Device purchased. Kept me warm enough. Whether an avid snorkeler would be happy, I don’t know, but other travelers had suits that I know cost quite a bit more and I could not tell where the additional value was. One of the review queastions was how “flattering” was it. It’s basically a second skin. If you’ve got a nice body (I don’t), it will be flattering, but being black, it also hides a lot and I did not feel self-conscious.
