Teva Women's Original Univ Diamond Sandal

I backpacked 7 different countries across Southeast Asia with these Teva's, and after an initial break-in period, they were incredible.First off - yes, i'm a guy; these are cheaper than the mens but ultimately are unisex with an arbitrary label. With that being said, I recommend these 100% to anyone. I think that at first, if you haven't worn hiking-style sandals like this before or have soft feet, you might get a bit scratched up, especially at the the back of the ankle. I actually got blisters and and bled a bit, which totally sucked. But it's just one of those things; after I wore them again after the initial blistering (and didn't wear them while that happened), they were amazingly comfortable. I hiked in them, went in the water with them, walked in the city with them, trekked through the actual jungle with them, etc, and loved them every step of the way. The leather is super comfortable once broken in.Ultimately:Fit: 10/10, as expectedColor: 9/10 - they're not quite the same as the picture, being a little less vibrant in color, but they still look greatComfort: 10/10 after the break-in, but a pretty rough break-in period. I remember being quite miserable, but i had to wear them all day and couldn't take them off; if you were able to more gradually break them in, i'm sure it'll be fine.Tread: 6/10. Good enough to hike in, but not a dedicated hiking sandal like some of the more expensive TevasValue: 10/10. Great price, cheaper than the 'mens', and cheaper than many other Teva variants.Recommend: YES

I absolutely LOVE these sandals. I have relatively narrow feet and a high arch so I don't really wear sandals often. I also have long, skinny toes and have always felt self conscious about wearing sandals. I can't wear flip flops because they never stay securely on my feet. They always move around and my heel ends up touching the ground while the flip flop is on crooked. I always thought to myself: I wish they had more casual "gladiator" type sandals that have a strap around the ankle to hold everything in place. That's when I found out about Chacos and Tevas! I ended up choosing Tevas because they are much more affordable and not at all ugly. These sandals are so comfortable and I love wearing them! I wear them out constantly: to the store, going to class, wherever! They're very easy to dress up or dress down because of the cute style. The first two or three times I wore them I felt self-conscious simply because I usually wear close-toed shoes and am not used to having my feet so exposed. However after I painted my toes I felt much better about wearing them out. They're very grippy, and this was one of the first things I noticed. They don't slide around on carpet or tile at all. This will not be my last pair of Tevas!

To start off with, this is Not a review about Amazon. This is about the Teva Original sandals that I recieved yesterday.Dear TevaI had purchased a pair of these sandals back in the 80's. Oh how I loved those sandals! I wore them everyday in the summers that I had them until I finallywore them out. But, back then these same sandals were made with super soft suede leather on the straps. The sandals that came in the mail yesterday have hard uncomfortable leather that cut into the tops of my feet:(Also the insole was suede that made myfoot stay in the sandal, not the slippery leather the new ones have.Why did you change the comfortable sandals that I loved so much in the 80's to 90's? Why?! They were such great sandals :(.,,Please make them comfortable again... Please???Jana L.* I'm going to try to make these sandals soft by using linseed oil and saddle soap.I just don't know why companies change or cheap out their products... my old ones were the best sandals I ever had :(Thanks for reading my woes and feelingmy tears. I was a little worried about if these shoes were to fit me because of the reviews I read on here. But to my surprise, these shoes fit perfectly to me! I absulutely love how comfy and light these shoes are. I've been wanting to buy me a few other pairs! I bought them because I wanted to use them to go to a Disney trip. I used these shoes from 9am to 8pm for 2 days at the Disney parks. I had no issues with them at all. The only thing I'll recommend is that if you're going to be walking for a long time with these shoes make sure that you moisturize your feet with lotion very well since your skin may become very dry when the weather is dry and hot like in Florida and it may start to feel a little uncomfortable because of the friction. But I abosulutely with no doubt give these shoes a five star review!

Love Teva sandals! Provide great support, thickness is just right and fits well - easy to adjust for the perfect fit with the velcro strips. They last a long time too! I wear mine nearly every day for 4 miles of walking a day & have had them over a year and they are still good to go!

These take some time to break in, but they are now becoming one with my feet. They look nice enough to wear to work and match everything. Getting them wet in the rain isn't a big deal. I like being able to adjust the fit in the front and the back. My toes are free to move around unencumbered by the strap. Patience is needed with these, but I think they are worth the break in period. I was starting to get blisters at first, so had to rotate with other shoes, but they are great now.

I really wanted to love these because they are a great classic caramel color and sandal. The only reason they aren't a five star is because of the length from the tip/top of sandal to the first strap is too long. I have long toes and clumsy feet all together so I was hoping the strap would sit on my toes but they left my toes free to move completely and not letting them feel secured. I do think they may fit better of you have small feet?If you know how these classic teva's fit they will be great! I ended up buying the ZIRRA in another color and a size smaller since I already had a pair and have worn them down.

Bought the 'toasted coconut' colour. So so comfortable and really easy to pack away in a suitcase as they take up hardly any space. The soles feel durable and supportive without being bulky. The straps take a bit of getting used to in how they sit on your foot as they're not a regular sandal design, but after a few wears I've gotten used to this and they're some of the comfiest sandals I've ever owned.

Not the usual Teva quality. It gave me blisters in my heels. I suppose Teva is just trying to sell out this batch and get this model to be made somewhere else or by another contractor (These are made in Vietnam). Too bad they look so cute, because I could not find another model that had a more neutral appearance.

Really pleased with sandals, worth every penny. Really pleased with how they looked on me.

Not a patch on the old original sandals that I had. Very disappointed with the quality. doubt if they will last very long and certainly not nearly as comfortable as the old version. Why do these firms change successful products????

Expensive but comfortable and just what I was looking for.
