I bought a couple of these after I received a slightly defective pair (return was extremely easy). I wouldn’t run long distances in them or participate in HIIT, but they’re fantastic for a plethora of workouts (including rowing and biking). There is no drawstring on these, but the waistband is elastic and fits me perfectly. High quality material keeps you cool and won’t chafe skin. Comes well above the knee, but won’t ride up on you or expose anything. I’m 5’-9”, 175-lbs, and they’re very flattering - even though my legs aren’t as built as I’d like. The fabric, when dry, feels similar to a ribbed cotton T-shirt. So I was wondering if they would also perform like a soggy wet t-shirt once I got sweaty. The opposite happened. It's difficult to explain, but the fabric actually gets more comfortable (at least for a hot yoga practice) once it gets wet. It also conforms to and moves with your body but in a very comfortable way. I didn't have to adjust the boys even once for any flow or pose. It's almost like wearing nothing, except everything is kept exactly where it needs to be. Guys, if you do hot yoga, you should order one in every color. I have a 31 waist and I ordered a small. The waist is actually a little roomy (elasticized and no draw string...kind of like wearing your favorite gym shorts without underwear, but that was another reason why my initial concern was that once they got wet, they'd expand, become too heavy, and fall down, etc.) The roominess actually adds to the comfort level experienced. There's no tight band restricting you around the waist, but they stayed in place the whole class, even during inversions.
