This is an incredibly beautiful light feature which was incredibly time consuming and awkward to put together. If you have any trouble putting keys or dog tags on a metal ring, this is going as tedious for you as it was for me because these metal rings are tiny, fragile and must be attached to the fixture once it is installed into the ceiling. If you get through that, the results are definitely worth it. It is also much brighter than I anticipated which is a big plus!

Beautiful light as described

Very nice chandler. It takes a lot of patience to pet the crystals on it. but when finished it looks great.

Purchased for my entry way. Install was pretty easy and it looks beautiful in the area. Some advice: Hang the big crystal strings with the pointy part of the crystal facing outward. If you don't, you'll have to go back and fix your mistake. Also, hang the crystals at the end after install and lightbulbs inserted. The small crystals go in between the big crystals. The ends of the big Crystals get inserted in the inner circle base.

This is well made and quality. Packaged well. Received quickly. Directions for hanging crystals are a bit vague. Pay close attention hanging crystals or you will be undoing a ton of crystals you previously hung to make the corrections. You hand install about 70 crystals. Took me about an hour on a step ladder to complete. Careful. It’s a beauty when finished though.

This is a cute little fixture for the money. It looks much more expensive than what we paid. We are in the process of renovating our house and we thought this light would be great for my walk-in closet. It did not disappoint. As other reviewers have noted the hanging of the crystals takes some time and patience but we’re used to that as this is the fourth fixture with hanging crystals we’ve installed. Initially I was concerned as I hung the crystals that the quality was sub par but I quickly realized that they were just dirty. I rubbed the crystals with my shirt to get out the smudges before I hung them and things started looking much better. After everything was hung I used the white gloves to go over each piece and clean them up. I need to purchase higher watt bulbs but for now the light is perfect for the space. Very pleased.

Beautiful addition to our sitting room! We added a light dimmer and are so pleased with this light fixture! It looks elegant and formal without breaking the budget! Assembly was a small challenge because each strand needed to be hung and the hanging rings were not the easiest to work with but I brought out the ladder and my readers and found a groove quicky...well worth the effort!

The jury is still out on whether my Mom is so inclined. However, she loves and is rather dazzled by this new lamp in her ranch-style tract home foyer. Never mind it is a scaled-down version of what you might find in an 1870’s mansion, she’s still tickled by it. Me, the installer, on the other hand, has a few observations for those considering this light fixture. First, while there are no labels to indicate that it is a UL Certified device, correspondence from the manufacturer says socket and wires are so certified. It looks to have a suitable electrical wire gauge. Where the wire passes through the lamp’s base the wire’s jacket is protected from abrasion by a rubber grommet and shorting to the lamp housing. The structure is steel, and when completely assembled with all the bangles, weighs in at a relatively hefty 5.38 lbs./ 2.44 kg. The Antique Silver finish is a lacquer paint, apparently, hand-applied; from my handling experience, it is reasonably scratch-resistant. Although the Seller suggests that it can be used in a bathroom, one just has to expect it to be subject to rust in a moist environment. Attaching all the crystal string bangles requires time, patience, and nimble fingers free of joint pain. It sounds silly, but fingernails are a good tool to pry open the spring-steel hoop ends while working them into the mounting holes. I hope they’re strong because you’ll have to make 90 such attachments! The aforementioned total weight is a consideration when mounting the thing and careful planning is important here. Best to rest it on top of your step ladder within 6 inches of the existing wiring to connect the wire ends together (and fasten the ground wire). Now it comes with quality mounting hardware, but you should be confident the existing ceiling electrical box solidly attached up there. Holding the lamp up in place while making the 2 screw attachments is awkward and an arm workout, even for a willing assistant. Quality-wise there are hand drilled holes that are not entirely uniformly placed. This makes the assembled crystal strings less than perfectly spaced. Additionally, a number of individual crystals have chipped corners. That said, the overall esthetics of the fixture are not impacted much by those issues when mounted 8 feet up—just ask Mom.
