We primarily use this as a slip bag but on occasion will also use it with our padded Escrima sticks. So far it has stood up to this abuse and, as a slip bag, it has a nice smooth action. Overall, I completely recommend this to you. Update: we’ve now been using this steadily for a bit over six months. It’s still in great shape. When you use this thing correctly (check out a video online by Paul “The Punisher” Williams for some ideas) you will get a great workout and really really improve your skills. This, and the double end bag, are some things I constantly recommend to the guys I train with at an MMA gym.
