About 3 episodes in my cheeks were flaming scarlet and I found myself wondering if it was TV nonsense to raise viewership and maybe the books would be more reasonable. Well... they weren't. If flagrant and seeming WAAAYYYY excessive and DETAILED sex scenes aren't for you, you may have to pass on this series. I read the books despite them, not for them. I found these stories to be so well told, the characters so compelling that I stuck with them and enjoyed them immensely. The only disappointment being that the last book wasn't ready yet when I was ready for it. Skill of writing and presentation of this particular world, beyond 5 of 5. Would I recommend them to others?
