The shoes have arch support built in so it's quite comfy to wear every day if you have to be on your feet for an extended length of time. I give it a 4 since the opening is slightly loose, but it doesn't hamper my walking, and with socks, it fits snugly . You do feel like you are on some stilts because the fabric is so stretchy it moves with your foot leaving you feeling only the soles below the feet. The soles feel thick and almost like walking on soft but thick foam. Not as easy to slip on so I wouldn't recommend for older folks. I haven't run in them as I dont think they are made for that or that my weak ankles would work with them. Fell the first time wearing them going down stairs. Again, no foot support or ankle as it just stretches around your foot.
