How waterproof is this, I need something to leave outside for post and parcels!?

Yes. I use it outside for parcels and so far has kept them bone dry. Might move in strong winds. I keep a couple of bricks in the bottom.

Is this hinged so that the lid can stay open as pictured? Would it be suitable as a post/parcel box? Thank you

Yes the lid is hinged. We use ours to house the kitchen bin so you can imagine the lid is always open & shut. We are very pleased with the quality of this product

Is this box good for securing the good inside? I am a night worker and sleep through the day. keep getting woken up by the bell.

It's a pretty secure box and waterproof, but if it's kept anywhere windy you will need to put a broken padlock through it to keep the lid from blowing open and dragging it away. I did also pop a concrete brick inside as we're on a really windy stretch.

HI could I keep emulsion and gloss paint in this outside on my balcony appreciate any answers

Its big enough but you would need to lock it or the wind will flip the lid open. As for long term storage its not ideal to leave paint outside in hot or cold climates.
