Excellent paw wax — works 100% for my dog and matches the description perfectly
Musher’s Secret Paw Wax works 100% for my dog. It moisturizes the paws extremely well, protects against hot pavement and rough surfaces, and absorbs quickly without leaving a mess. My dog’s pads look healthier, softer, and much less cracked since using it. The product description is fully accurate — the texture, the ingredients, and the effect match exactly what is stated on the page. It’s safe, easy to apply, and my dog tolerates it very well. I can highly recommend this paw wax to anyone who wants reliable protection and care for their pet’s paws. Great quality, great results, and absolutely worth the price.

Musher's Secret Actually Worked
I started using Musher's Secret on my 3-year-old dog's nose after she developed a rough, crusty patch that had been present for over a year. I applied it twice daily, and after just one week, I noticed a significant improvement. The area became noticeably softer, less crusty, and blended much better with the rest of her nose. What impressed me most is that this wasn't a new issue. The spot had remained unchanged for over a year, so I wasn't expecting to see results this quickly. The balm was easy to apply, stayed where I put it, and my dog wasn't able to lick it off immediately like some other products we've tried. While the spot hasn't disappeared completely, the improvement after only seven days exceeded my expectations. I'll definitely continue using it and would recommend Musher's Secret to anyone dealing with a dry, rough, or crusty dog nose. The attached before-and-after photos show the difference from May 31st to June 6th after applying Musher's Secret twice daily. The results speak for themselves!

Effective alternate "dog shoe" for a dog that has mastered kicking her shoes off
Purchased this in December 2015 to use on my schnauzer/terrier mix through the Chicago winter. We tried on various dog shoes including the rubber/rubber-alternative deflated balloon kind at the pet store but she'd either rip the boots off or it was an awkward fit. After this experience someone recommended musher's paw wax. My order came within a day or two. The wax is rich, which is great, because a dog's paws may be tough but can be hurt and/or irritated by all sorts of materials, textures, and chemicals found on the ground. I knew the significant amount of salt poured atop Chicago's snow would cause a reaction for my dog's sensitive paws especially with her allergies. Thankfully the protection wax can act as a barrier to keep harsh surfaces and chemicals at bay. However since it's essentially a lotion the wax will trap salt particles, small rocks and pieces of dirt, so as the directions note, be sure to thoroughly clean it off your dog's paws after coming back inside! The wax does seem to moisturize beyond just for protecting against surfaces & cold winter weather, so after using a towelette or wet wipe to clean the pads as well as in between, I would add a thin lightweight layer atop clean paws to help my dog stay moisturized. Now in LA I have used it several times when my dog and I go outdoors with weather over 70-75, especially with greater sun exposure. Her paws become inflamed in the LA heat and this wax has prevented that on several occasions. I have not used the product when walking on dirt trails or for prolonged periods of time, but I'd worry that the wax would collect too many small material like rocks and pieces of bark/wood chips on my dog's paws if we were to hike or go to a forest, so of course this wax is not going to be as dependable or protective as a sturdy dog boot. but certainly recommended nonetheless. Good price, rich texture so the product goes a long way and has a good shelf life, seeing as it's now April and perhaps only 1/5th of the container contents have been used. Thanks for helping me keep my pup healthy and comfortable :)

Lifesaver for an active dog
This balm is great. My dog's paws were pretty torn up after a boarding stay. Started applying this balm and within three days saw huge improvement, and total healing within 5-6 days. Been using it through the summer and it really helps keep pads in good shape.

Soothing for superficial wounds Easy to apply, absorbs quickly can be licked safely
I am putting this on my dogs abraded toes- it is safe to lick but I am attempting to cover with socks purchased from Expawlorer. It’s a little smaller than expected but a small amount goes a long way. No scent (to me). No color when applied and is absorbed rapidly- I put a little in their nose as well. Happy with the product ruse far. Did not burn when applied.

Not just for cold climates, great in hot and dry climates too!
This is a great product. I live in Arizona and was thrilled to find a product to use to protect his feet from the heat. Not that I walkin him on the street when it is hot (which is most of the time), but when we go in the yard for potty time, even on the artificial grass, I want to protect him. It is the perfect texture and applies and absorbs in easily.

I can’t speak highly enough about Musher’s
2026 is the 2nd winter that I’ve been using Musher’s Secret Dog Paw Wax for my 100lb Golden Doodle & I’ve got to say that I’m impressed. I only wish I had found it sooner because around the same time last winter he got a piece of rock salt stuck in between his paw pads & I just about wanted to cry with him. After multiple applications his paw heeled without a trip to the vet. As I said I really wish I had found it early because I think with regular use it helps with his rough paws. I sometimes dog sit for a friend when he goes out to town & both dogs get paw pad treatments. It’s like their own little spa day. How many dogs can say that? Yours can too. Did I mention that it’s fragrance free? Did I mention that it’s safe if your pup licks his or her paws after application? I can’t speak highly enough about this product. But it, you’re dog will like it.

This is HIGH FAT and can trigger digestive upset and even pancreatitis in small dogs
I have mixed feelings about this product. The good: - It's quite effective. My little dogs paws were getting really dry and cracked just going outside to potty in this severe east Texas heat. Musher's secret did make their paws buttery soft very quickly. - It doesn't smell bad. - It even kept them from slipping as much as they normally do when walking on my hardwood floors. The not-so-good: - My dogs are little chihuahua mixes. Little dogs tend to have more sensitive stomachs than larger dogs. After applying this several times they both started not feeling well (they must be licking it off). My younger dog now will not eat anything (he started getting a sour stomach yesterday, only eating a little of his food, and this morning he refused any breakfast at all). My older dog vomited violently and also had some diarrhea (and also stopped eating). Due to his age I took him to the emergency vet, and he suddenly has pancreatitis. I'm very strict about what food I let him have, and this product was the only new thing he had been exposed to within a timeline that could have triggered pancreatitis. So my regular vet (the day after the emergency vet trip) told me to not use this on him any more. She looked at the product and said that while it does not have any toxic ingredients, it's basically pure oil (that's why it works so well). She told me oil is fat, and fat triggers pancreatitis. His paw pads are baby soft, but not he's feeling very sick and I'm out $1000 so far. He's also developed a cough, and the vet says that he likely aspirated during vomiting, and now we're hoping that he doesn't develop aspiration pneumonia. He's on two antibiotics, and anti nausea medicine, an appetite stimulant, and had to have fluids twice at the vet now. If my other dog doesn't perk up and eat something soon, he might end up on medication too. Thankfully he hasn't had any of the severe symptoms my other dog has had, and hopefully his appetite will come back soon. This product is the only thing that is new to them both that matches up to the timing of their symptoms, and common to them both (they have separate dog food since one of them has allergies). So, if you have small dogs that may be sensitive, consider that this product is high fat. If you use it, do everything to ensure they do not lick it off. For a small dog, it doesn't take a whole lot to upset their digestive system. I decided to give this product 3 stars instead of 1. Personally, I regret using it and will not use it again. But because it did do what it said it would (their paws are baby soft) I felt it was more fair to give it three stars with a warning to other small dog owners to be extra careful using it. Cover your dogs paws with booties until it absorbs completely, or put a cone on them.

Richtig gut!

Good amount and helped my dog’s paws
My dog’s paws nolonger are as rough after long walks. On another note, I’ve completely underestimated how much 60g is. My dog is a tiny thing. I’m pretty sure she would pass on before I even finish using this
