Why is your product so expensive(nearly 2x the cost of other competent & organic chwanprash)if it is directly sourced from the farm with no middlemen?

The cost factor is a simple and valid question and yet so complicated to answer. There are many factors that constitutes and affect the cost of a product. At TBOF we try every day in every way to make conscious decisions that will be beneficial for all – The land, the eco system, the produce, the flora and fauna, people that works with us and of course our wonderful customers. Ours is an organic farm where we do not practice mass production, our farming practice without artificial pesticides and fertilizers means more intensive labour and slower results. From this farm, we use the best ingredients to make our products, which would mean that our yield factor is low. We do not cut any corners or cost with our ingredients, the Amla we used are the young Amlas which has higher nutritional value but are more expensive, the Jaggery is handmade at our farm, free from any additives, the Ghee is Pure A2 Desi cow cultured Ghee, we do not substitute it with any cheaper Ghee, the spices are organic. Our products are artisanal, made in the traditional way with love- this helps to retain the nutrients, freshness, taste, flavor and fragrance while continuing to generate employment which would otherwise be replaced by machines. It also means more time consumption and production in small batches. We got our farm Organic certified so that people need not rely solely on our word but have confidence provided by the reputable certifying body. We practice fair trade which means that people that work with us are provided comfortable working environment and fair wage and are not exploited. This also means that we have happy workers but cannot keep labour cost low. We are happy that you did mention how you love our brand and we are grateful that you have supported us thus far. What we would like for you think when you hold that jar of chyawanprash is that you are a valuable contributor to the circle of love, circle of what is right. Poor health, climate change, employment issues, exploitation of animal and human labour are also real and pressing issues and you, the consumer, have the power to turn things around when making a conscious buying decision. One way to look at it, is that the price that you pay for our bottle of Chyawanprash would be equivalent to a one time family movie outing J

Once you will place your order with us we will provide you with the Freshly prepared batch of Amlaprash. Expiry of the product is 6 months from the date of Packing.

Is it preservation free? How come It can be used upto 2 years from the date of manufacturing if it is preservative free?

Which form of mishri you use. like mishri crystallised on a thread or machine-made crystals? brown or white mishri?
