Paialco Realistic Rubber Snake Toy 52 Inch Long (Black)

Looks like a yellow-bellied water snake. It is flexible rubber but a "stiff" flexible rubber...it pretty much stays in it's coiled shape but you can drape it across some tree branches and it will mostly stay draped. Birds can't tell it's a water snake look-a-like so no issue with it being in a tree. ;) Or, you can lay it in somebody's front floorboard to get their day started off with a charge!!!

We bought two of these snakes from different vendors on Amazon. They looked alike. Used them in the garden to deter chipmunks that were eating our tomatoes. They worked! Then a raccoon came in and started eating the tomatoes. We put out a have a heart trap and got the raccoon. He had dragged the plastic snake into the cage with him, bit the head off And apparently ate it as we could not find the head!

A simple Wiki search will tell you that they are white and that the inside of their mouth is what gives it its name. The paint job is mediocre (yellowish rubber airbrushed with black), but it is sturdy & has a nice weight to it. It almost feels like a real snake (basing this off of handling my real pet snake). The photo of it raising its head led me to believe that it had a wire inside for posing, but this is not the case. It is limp and posing is limited, as it will naturally spring back into a coiled shape if you don't have a way to hold it in place. If you have the ability to redo the paint on it, it would make for a fantastic snake replica.

I got this snake for my cat (I know weird).... I have a safe yard that I'll let my cat go out from time to time a couple months ago in walks Earl (my cat) with a snake! He was playing with his new friend in living room, the week before he brought in a chimpmunk to play with. I figured he'd like to play with this. Unfortunately he doesn't, because it's stiff and I can't get it the slither. the snake is of good quality, my nephew likes it Both the snake and chipmunk remained unharmed and were set free. Anyone that has troubles with critters in their yard may want to get a cat lol.

My son loves snakes but I do not. I figured purchasing this fake snake for my 3 year old would be a great idea, a “meeting in the middle” situation and it was not at first. This thing is VERY life like and scared him! Completely unintentional, I figured he’d get a kick out of it. After many weeks of coaxing, showing him that this snake is “nice,” he is now content with it sharing a seat with him. I’d imagine this would be great as gag gift!

Arrived quickly and looked super cool on arrival. Good weight to it and looked realistic. But the first time it was used and handled, the black paint started flaking off. Flaked off all over hands and clothes. Only handled for one night indoors, no exposure to any elements (i.e. water or dirt or sand etc).

Got them to keep the birds out of my gutters. We haven't heard on bird since! must be black with yellow bellys

I bought this to keep the neighborhood cats (and their sandy, scratchy paws) off the hood of my Jeep; so far, it's working. Maybe in time the cats will figure out it's fake, but for now, the snake twisting in the wind, showing off its yellow underbelly, seems to be doing the trick. As others have said, this snake won't straighten out if you lay it on the ground. But if you hang it, like I did, it stretches out, with the head still cocked -- perfect!

The size of the snake is too small. It seems good and realistic snake. I like it but the size of the snake not enough
