All in one headset, excellent price
I got these instead of the xp510 because of the color, blue fits with my home surround led lighting.I use these headphones for my ps3, simple bluetooth connection with the ps3Xbox 360 got a bluetooth adapter for use with the system, (found on amazon, ebay, turtlebeach website, about $30)Xbox one, with mobile cable for chatphone, making calls, hearing music or podcasts, bluetooth connection losses strength at about 20 ft, less for any walls in the way of signalI pass through my home surround system to the rf transmitter and to whichever system its hooked on, that way there is no disconnecting of optical cables for audio. the only problem is that the rf transmitter is always on even when headphones are not in use, that is the downside to having it connected to the home surround. It is your choice, I just dont like to be swapping cables. A little 411 turtle beach support is slow, no help on twitter, email message only. They sound great out the box, but if you want good surround settings and bass do this, surround angle on rf transmitter on #4 setting, download turtle beach advances sound editor, installon turtle beach website create account so that you are able to download custom sound filesyou will select your headset once complete with registration, it will offer presets availablesearch in community presets, total votes, down in the first page there is the astro a 50 master preset.I use that for my master preset with the right amount of bass, there will be some drag and drop steps to be taken, drag from your download folder to the turtlebeach/advancedsoundeditor/savedpresets folderon advanced sound editor if done right the master fil that you have downloaded or any preset should be available be it the game/chat/master drop down, click on save and it will be saved on headset.and yes the battery does last, i made it around 14 hours on full charge.overall a great headset, especially now that its about 50% of original price, worth it.

I wanted to love her but she didn't love me back...
I really wanted to give these 5 stars...Firstly, these take some serious work to get setup. You need to be quite savvy with figuring things out if you want to even get these to a listenable level. I took quite some time to give this headset the attention I felt they deserved. I installed all the appropriate drivers, got both companion software and learned how to use them, read the entire user manual several times, wrestled with the pairing process and so on.When I did finally get everything tweaked just right the audio was very clear and the bass almost made my ears bleed (my mistake). The virtual surround sound is better than most gaming headsets. I can definitely get a general direction of footsteps in games. They seemed pretty alright and I wanted to keep them but there are some flaws that I just can't live with. These have an auto shutoff "feature" that cannot be disabled. This mostly affects usability when listening to music only - the headset just shuts off mid-song without warning...Another peeve is that this headset for some reason or another keeps moving the chat presets to the game presets... Then when I would use the turtle beach audio hub program to correct the error I would get a "device error" message which could not be reconciled no matter how many times I power cycled them. After which I would have to factory reset the headset and delete the drivers just so it would reconnect to the audio hub. I've had to do this more than a handful of times in the 2 days I've owned them. Finally, the blinking lights... why the thought it was a good idea to make them look like an airplane trying to land is beyond me. The power light is always blinking and if you have bluetooth on that light blinks too! So you would have one blinking light on both sides of your head...I will mention the power button jiggle. It does make noise when you move the headset but you'd have to be doing some serious head-banging or jogging for it to be an issue But it does exist as other people have mentioned. If the PX51 actually worked as intended, we might of had something special. If you're really looking for a good tossing, look up Audio-Technica. There you will find true class.
