Kids love getting these pennies at various museums, etc. The machines take one penny and two quarters and the kids love turning the crank to press the penny. You can find a list of all smashed penny machines in US and world online! And this is perfect to store them! The pennies go in quite tightly -- this is a feature, so that they don't fall out. It also has a few larger size compartments for machines that press quarters. My son had this when he was small and loved filling it. We got these for our 2 & 4 year old granddaughters recently. The 4 y.o. loves it. All in all, get this to store the best souvenirs out there!

Cute item at a good price. Seems vintage and there's slight sticker residue/discoloration on the back, but I don't mind that for the price. It's a convenient way to store coins in a retro-looking album.

I had no idea these things existed until my family visited Mt. St. Helens a few months ago. They had a version of this there that was a bit more expensive and looked more like a passport. We didn't like it; we figured Amazon could do better. And it did. Most importantly, my son likes this because it's green - his favorite color. I also appreciate the fact that it's less passport-like and more collectible-thing like. His flattened pennies come from all sorts of places, not just national parks and monuments, so the styling just seemed more appropriate to his collection. This is pretty sweet. I expect I will buy another one soon, as he's running out of slots for new coins.

This is my third one as I like to collect smashed pennies. It fits the coins and makes them easy to store and look through.

The pockets for UK pressed pennies are too small. Otherwise nicely done album with lost opportunity to store 12 more pressed pennies on the cover what folds into the album.
