A: It sort of does taste like coffee but better. If your looking for a coffee substitute, this is he best I have found.

A: I brew mine in a press. The color is similar to coffee, and has a nice rich flavor. It's a good substitute for coffee.

A: I’m sure you could use this as a cold brew without a problem biggest problem I had with this product was the tea is so finely cut that it would pass through my filter I had and end up with all the tea leaves in your tea itself

I was looking for something that I could drink after work at around 4 p.m.to help me resist the urge to nap, for when I do, I end up staying up way too late. This of course leads to a vicious cycle of staying up late, being incredibly tired after work, napping, and repeating. You know that feeling of having wasted the day because you took a two-hour nap? "THIS MUST STOP!" I'd scream to the heavens. Drinking something as strong as coffee so late in the afternoon can have not-so-desirable results itself, so this Yerba Mate blend is exactly what I needed. Combining the many health benefits of Yerba, the enhanced focus and the mild energy boost it gives you, it provides a mild energy boost without making you wired and also while avoiding the often bitter taste of pure Yerba Mate. I mean, let's face it: that stuff can be pretty gross. The fact that you can prepare it in a coffee maker is an added bonus and makes this product just an all-around win for me. I'll add a bit of cream and sweeten it just a bit for a flavor that is not at all gag-inducing, like some other I've tried. It's hard to go wrong with this stuff.
