**Q: can I insert a male-to-male cord into the mic input and tape record songs from a PC onto a cassette tape?**
A: A mic input takes music INTO the unit for it to record; a headphone output sends what it plays (radio or cassette) as a signal to headphones -- or, to answer your question, to another recording or amplification amp that accepts line out levels.

**Q: Does this player support stereo output? 
(No rosie perez, I don't care that your player died)**
A: I think it would depend on the tape. The player has outs for MIC and headphones. I have not tried using the player with headphones so I can't be 100% sure.

**Q: What is the playback quality of a voice recording not a music cassette. Is there a lot of background noise? Can you hear the recorded voice plainly?**
A: Mine works great.  I've listened to audio books as well as music and haven't had any problems.  Hope this helps.

**Q: Why did it break soon soon after the 30day limit to refund?**
A: It is very poorly made, do not spend money or time on this product.
