I needed a black turtleneck and wanted one that was thin and this was perfect. When I say I thin I don't mean of inexpensive quality I just mean body hugging or body contouring. The material is high-quality and can be worn on the cooler evenings. I have long arms and this shirt covered my long arms and I was very happy. My chest size is 32C and I ordered a medium. My arm length is 23 1/2 and that's me trying to measure it myself. I'm 5'8" and weigh 124 if that helps anyone.

I ordered two of these (one in cream, one in tan) when I was headed to a conference and my luggage was lost by the airline. I needed some appropriate clothing shipped overnight to me and this was one of the few offerings that was affordable and qualified for next-day delivery.For the sake of sizing, I'm 5'7 and 125 lbs. I normally wear a size 4/6 in pants or a size S in shirts/blouses.Based on the size chart, I ordered size L and still found the sleeves to be pretty short (they barely reached my wrists), and the sweater juuuust reached the top of my slacks. It offered a snug fit through the stomach/chest - not tight enough to render it unwearable, but I would hesitate to wash or dry clean this for fear it would shrink further. The fabric is very soft and it was a comfortable sweater to wear. The fabric is thin but not transparent; however, if I hadn't seriously needed it, I would have sent it back. If you're over 5'5 or if you have long arms/torso, don't bother. Otherwise, it could be a good deal...just be super certain you triple-check the sizing.

I LOVE these sweaters!! I have many of these in different colors and have been happy with them all. They are well made and appear to be durable. I'm 5' 2", 123 lbs, and have a 34B bra size. I read some of the reviews prior to ordering my first sweater and decided to go with the size large. I didn't want the turtle necks to be tight or even clingy. I wanted to have room to wear a layer underneath and the size large fits the bill. Even though the sweater is loose fitting, it's not too big in anyway. I've also purchased these sweaters in the other styles (V-neck & crew neck) and also ordered them in size large. They're not thick so if it's really cold outside, then an under shirt along with a coat / jacket is still necessary. Very happy with these sweaters!

This is a lovely turtleneck. Very rich looking. I read the reviews so ordered an XL instead of an L, which I usually wear in knit tops. I tried it on, and I have to say that even the XL is more form-fitting than I like, but I did buy it to wear under another sweater so it will suffice. Be sure to size up!

I am 5'9, 150lbs and I usually wear a medium so I got this in a large so it would be a little roomy. It fits perfectly! The olive green is gorgeous and looks and feels expensive. Wore it to Manhattan on a cold day under a jacket and it helped to keep me warm. I would say go a size up if you want a little room and a comfy fit. I would definitely buy this again.

The color is gorgeous, the fabric soft and warm. It's not too heavy or too light. The only issue I have is that it's made small. I would normally wear a medium but often purchase a large for extra room. When I took it out of the packaging I actually thought it might be slightly too big. But after I washed it it shrunk and now the large is a little tight. I can still wear it - I usually wear turtlenecks under a sweater or shirt anyway. But if you have any doubt, go up at least one size, and don't be afraid to go up two. But in terms of looks and fabric...it's lovely and flattering.

I wear either a small or a medium. I am a 34A, but have broader shoulders. While the medium fits, it fits just barely. I'm too lazy to return for a large, but that probably would have been the better choice for me. I like the sweater otherwise, perfect for business casual in the winter.

I love the weight, feel, and length of this cotton sweater. I read other reviews about sizing and fit before buying. I normally wear size small. I'm 5'4" and a 32B. I decided to purchase a medium and it fit well without being tight but still flattering and not looking over-sized at all. I wanted the torso length and arm length to be a bit longer and I didn't need a layering turtleneck so the fit was perfect. I own many turtlenecks from many different retail and online vendors.So far this one looks like a winner. I see if I have time to modify this review after I wash it. I imagine it's going to hold up well but I wash in cold and line or lay my sweaters to dry.
