Bought these for cooking and they deliver exactly what I needed: solid heat protection while still allowing real finger mobility. That combination is harder to find than you'd think. Sizing worked out great for me. I'm average build but have larger hands, and the L fit perfectly. Good reference point if you're on the edge. Quality looks and feels solid, and while looks aren't really a priority for this kind of glove, they do look nice too. Win-win. Find them to be an excellent value, they are easy to put and remove and have proven trustful. Highly recommend for anyone needing reliable heat protection that doesn't make you feel like you're wearing oven mitts.

I purchased these gloves for heat protection when I'm grilling. They do a great job protecting my hands when I'm moving hot grates or cleaning the grill after use. You can feel a little warmth on them if the grill is super hot. They are a little big and bulky, but that is to be expected. Great purchase.

Work great. If slag falls between fingers, you can definitely feel it. But after 7 hours of use, they are still in perfect shape.

Excellent sturdy, well-made gloves. I’ve wrestled with my mouthy-bitey 52-lb dog a few times a week for 1-2 years with these gloves on and she hasn’t torn through them yet. They have a tightening strap half way up the forearm, but I’ve put heavy rubber bands around the wrist area to keep them from falling off. The other leather pair I had bought tore within 6 months. This pair is much better-made.

These work great when working with the campfire or while cooking over the campfire. I can easily move a hot Solo stove without waiting for it to cool down thanks to these gloves; they provide great protection from the heat.

I bought them for pulling huge blackberry canes. These gloves were flawless. No thorn punctures at all. I bought xxl and they’re a bit large. But I often buy gloves too small so I’m happy they are usable at least. I do not hesitate to recommend them for thorn.

I bought these to protect myself from cat bites. I rescued a cat that has bitten me for no reason. I can tell he was not treated kindly. Instead of putting him down I got these gloves so I can work with him. He has a favorite hiding spot. When he's in there he nips at me when I try to pull him out. I don't want him to think that he's won, and I want to pull him out. That's when I put on these gloves to get him. He will be growling when I reach for him. He is afraid to bite the gloves, so it's a win for me. He knows I've never hurt him so maybe that's why he won't bite them. They are really long on me and go up nearly to my elbows. They are super thick and I think it would take a lot to get a bad bite through these gloves. The price was right at around $26 . I really like these gloves! They offer me some protection.

A must-have item for anyone dealing with pets. First of all for veterinary use of course, but also for the owners and pet saving people dealing with stressed animals. A real life saver for us with our cats.

Great product, but mistakenly ordered as not fit for the purpose I wanted. Too stiff to be able to grab hot pots and their handles safely. Size is also too big for a woman.

Los guantes se ven de calidad, no se si será cuero, pero al abrirlos olia a piel, en mi caso para un uso en la barbacoa y para el horno en casa, en ambos casos se alcanza una temperatura alta. La talla es muy subjetiva, la S, (usada por mi) es mas bien grande para ser una S pero tampoco es incomodo que sea algo mas grande. Cubren parte del antebrazo, lo cual es un plus (sobre todo en la barbacoa). Respecto a la temperatura soportada, tardas unos 20 segundos en empezar a notar que quema (sin llegar a quemarte) y en torno a 40 segundos para que sea algo insoportable, lo que a mi me supone un tiempo mas que valido. Tampoco aspiro a que sea un traje ignifugo de bombero. Por ultimo, se limpian con facilidad por lo que estoy bastante contento con la compra.

I recently switch to a gas stove and it is very hot to handle my pots and pans now. My existing oven mitt -- the basic cloth lining type -- was good enough at protecting against hot pot handles, but it is not flame resistant at all. If I got my hand too close to the bottom of the pan, close to the gas flame, my oven mitt would burn...and that is very dangerous. I decided to get a pair of heat resistant gloves that could also handle a bit of direct fire. These do not disappoint. They are a lot stiffer than regular cloth mitts, but my hands are still dexterous enough to grab a pot handle or to grab the oven tray. The length is also sufficiently long to cover more of my arm. This definitely helps when reaching into the oven to get the food item and I feel confident that more of my arm is protected from accidentally making contact with parts of the oven. To test it out, I let put my hand on about 300°F surface - wearing the glove of course - and waited to see how long it took for me to feel the heat. It took about 30 seconds before I started to feel it get warmer. I am happy with that because I do not plan on really needing to put my hand in such heat for a prolonged period of time, so this is perfectly OK with me. I bought a pair of medium sized gloves. My palmer width is 3.5" and palmer length is about 7". I know according to the chart, I should get a pair of SMALL. The mediums fit me quite well. I actually do have a pair of small sized gloves as well and I tried them on. They "fit", but I find that I am not as agile using those. The medium size fits a lot better for me. Consequently, my regular glove fit is medium also...so this is not a surprise for me, that medium works for me. I am very happy with the purchase of these gloves. I am quite confident using them and feel very well protected.
