Evo Oil Sprayer Original, Non-Aerosol for Olive, Cooking Oils, and Vinegars, Green, 24-Ounce Capacity

I was very dissatisfied with the cheap generic oil sprayer I had previously purchased from Amazon (although I liked the included cleaning tools, so I didn't return it), so I researched oil sprayers with better reputations. I saw a very helpful how-to-use video by Evo on YouTube, and was impressed by the clever design. I also saw an independent video review which was somewhat critical, but I decided that I could live with what the other reviewer saw as flaws, since the Evo oil sprayer did spray immediately upon turning the adjustable nozzle to the ON position, which the generic oil sprayer had been unable to do, even after extensive preliminary "priming the pump". This 18 oz. red version was the least expensive Evo available on Amazon, so I went with that. The Evo arrived on time and undamaged in a bubble mailer, complete with all of the pieces which had been shown in the manufacturer's how-to video. One screws on the included funnel to the top opening, pours in however much oil or vinegar one wishes (in my case, the avocado oil I had attempted to fill the generic oil sprayer with), unscrews the funnel, slips on a reversible rubber-band label from the included set of 3 (nothing specifically "avocado oil", so I went with "vegetable oil", since both have high smoke points), and then screws on the nozzle (making sure the nozzle tube below is pointing the same direction as the nozzle tip, to ensure complete emptying of the bottle). Nothing came out the first time I pumped it -- but then I looked and saw that the nozzle tip was adjustable, and needed to be turned from OFF to one of the two ON positions. Once that was done, I had no problem dispensing a wide fan of spray, allowing for quick, even coverage with minimal oil use (just 1/4 teaspoon per pump, I think). This allows for coverage of large areas (as an aerosol cooking oil spray would), without the propellants which can cause excess wear of nonstick coatings. And the 18 oz. capacity of this model is huge! (I could easily fit 1/2-2/3 of a bottle of olive oil or avocado oil in here.) The 18 oz. Evo is probably a little too big for table service of vinegar and oil with salads (which is what I suspect is the main intended use of the 2-pack of 8 oz. Evos); however, this 18 oz. size is perfect for prep work for home cooks who use a lot of one particular kind of oil (in my case, either avocado oil or an inexpensive olive/sunflower oil blend. I have already used this successfully with my air fryer, and if it proves to be generally useful, I may phase out the aerosol cooking oil sprays in my kitchen cupboard, and just use this instead. Highly recommended!

This is large and I almost returned it! So happy I decided to keep it. This works beautifully and doesn’t leak. I have purchased others that were smaller but leaked or didn’t spray the way I like. This bottle has several choices for spraying, wide spray (which I prefer), middle of the road spray and a straight spray. Very easy to use. Got the red.

This Evo oil sprayer has honestly been a kitchen MVP for my mom — her last one survived seven whole years, which is basically ancient in kitchen‑tool time. It sprays super evenly, doesn’t clog, and makes cooking feel way more aesthetic than dumping oil straight from the bottle. BUT after years of loyal service, it finally started leaking from the top, so just know it does have an expiration date. Still, for the price and how long it lasts, it’s a solid 4/5. Great performance, just not immortal.

This olive oil sprayer exceeded my expectations. The build quality is outstanding, the spray is consistently fine and even, and it feels durable and well-designed. It performs exactly as advertised, making it easy to control the amount of oil used. I’m extremely satisfied with this purchase and highly recommend it.

I hope everyone reads this review because I found out how great these bottles are only after blundering through my first sprayer. I first ordered this oil sprayer several months ago when I began to cook in a more healthy manner. When trying to find a good sprayer, I read all the customer comments, including comments about several other brands of sprayers. When I received my first EVO, I liked it, but (like some of the complaints state) it quit spraying as a mist after a couple of squirts and would only spray in a straight stream. That was not what I wanted. I wanted a sprayer. I still continued to use it but eventually got frustrated and donated it to Good Will. Over the next few months, I purchased different brands of oil sprayers and even tried going back to the aerosol ones. I finally realized the EVO product had operated better than any of the other ones I used and in order to continue with cooking healthier, I decided to order another EVO. HERE'S THE GOOD NEWS: I ordered my second EVO sprayer and oh-my-gosh, it appeared to be an updated model and I no longer have trouble with it misting. Here's what I also didn't know with my first EVO sprayer: If I want to spray a straight stream of oil (or vinegar or other liquids), I only squeeze the spray trigger a little bit and if I want to spray a mist, I pull the trigger all the way in. I am so very satisfied with my always-misting EVO sprayer. My suggestion is to make sure there you order the style of EVO sprayer that I purchased, which includes a twist-on filling funnel for easy refilling. My first EVO sprayer didn't come with the funnel. That's the only way I know of to make sure you get the exact same product. Another suggestion for when you clean your EVO is to fill it with water, add a few drops of detergent & let it sit for a few hours or overnight. I found the oil washes out very easily. I am so glad I now have a good, reliable sprayer for oils!

It's badly engineered. The stem lacks flexibility and easily gets crooked and strained. The nozzle is inferior and the spray pattern was too wide on day-1 but then degraded even more to where it was basically just spraying out three tight streams in random directions (outside my target area by a LOT). This product has a lot of decent ideas, but they failed to get the basics right which makes this version overpriced and underperforming. I didn't like it first and it just got worse.

I bought this based on the high reviews on various websites. I didn’t want a glass bottle because — well.. broken glass + oil everywhere? This seemed to be the best of the plastic options. Pros: It looks pretty. Does a fairly decent job of spraying (though not as good as an aerosol). Cons: As you spray, it leaks and you end up with oily hands and an oily (slippery!) trigger. So I’m still going to keep using it, but beware that you’re going to have to keep cleaning the outside of the bottle and particularly the spray trigger after each use. And your hands. And anything touching wherever you put it down… 😏

Works very well with oil for cooking. It holds quite a lot of oil and doesn't take much to coat pan to keep food from sticking. Cost effective compared to name brand spray can. Satisfied with my purchase.

Von einem "Spray" kann man nicht sprechen - es ist bei allen Einstellungen das Gleiche - ein dicker fetter Strahl, der unkontrollierbar ist. Mittlerweile habe wir zwei Polster der Küchenstühle ruiniert, da der Strahl nicht kontrollierbar ist Außerdem ist er undicht, wenn man "sprüht" läuft einem Öl über den Zeigefinger. Also : Hochgelobt aber nicht tauglich. Nach vier Wochen zurückgegeben.

Chorrea un poco al disparar, no rocia parejo, pero si es util para regular el uso de aceite en tus alimentos

De momento funciona bien, estoy contenta. El aceite se distribuye bien, y es muy cómodo. Puedes elegir dos opciones para spray, una puntual y otra más dispersa que es la que más uso.

This is good. Probably the only good spray bottle that sprays in a mist. But it’s not 100% even. The corners get more concentrated than the middle.

I’ve bought different sprayers and none of them any good. This one works perfectly. Highly recommend.
