I knew the first time I wore it that it was a keeper. I was concerned that 8 pounds would be too light but at a little over 7% of my body weight it is perfect for me as a beginner. With my arthritis, foot and back issues, I must be careful not to use one that is too heavy. There is no unpleasant odor, something often mentioned in reviews of other products. I don’t know how long it will last, but it appears to be well-made. I couldn’t be happier, especially at the reasonable price I paid.

I highly recommend this 8-pound weighted vest by Tone Fitness. I first bought a highly rated adjustable vest but found it to be hot and uncomfortable. I like the weighted vest. I got the 12lb, it felt heavy, but once you out it on, the weight distribution is even. So you don't really feel the weight has much.
