I highly recommend this 8-pound weighted vest by Tone Fitness. I first bought a highly rated adjustable vest but found it to be hot and uncomfortable. Because I only used a few weights, it felt unbalanced and hurt my back. I returned it and opted for this one. Though I would rather not have to slip it over my head, it is easy to don. The buckles work well and make it snug enough to prevent excessive movement while walking and lightly jogging. The hole in the back and the streamlined design make it cooler to wear. I was instantly pleased with how the weight is evenly distributed in front and back and from top to bottom allowing my whole torso to carry the weight. I knew the first time I wore it that it was a keeper. I was concerned that 8 pounds would be too light but at a little over 7% of my body weight it is perfect for me as a beginner. With my arthritis, foot and back issues, I must be careful not to use one that is too heavy. There is no unpleasant odor, something often mentioned in reviews of other products. I don’t know how long it will last, but it appears to be well-made. I couldn’t be happier, especially at the reasonable price I paid.

I like the weighted vest. I got the 12lb, it felt heavy, but once you out it on, the weight distribution is even. So you don't really feel the weight has much. I use it for push up, fast walking and slow running, and after I finish and take it off, you can feel it, it's like double the workout in one. It's not the adjustable weight, that you can add or subtract, it's like sand in it. But it's very comfortable. It has reflectors on each side for night time. I also would suggest just have it one through the day around the house, that's a workout also.

Great for excercise and practic

Researched a lot of different weight vests and settled on this one. Good quality and fits comfortably. I'm very pleased with the value for the price. If you're looking for a weight vest for moderate activity, this will do the job.

I love this weighted vest as opposed to the other style that wraps under your shoulders. Since this clips at your waist, it takes the weight off of your shoulders. I find I can wear this for longer periods as the weight is more evenly distributed across my body. I have the other type and my shoulders will start to hurt after a while. I wrap an elastic belt at my chest (the stretchy elastic no show belt) to help further distribute the weight off my shoulders. I have a small waist and I couldn’t pull it tight to fit, so the belt helps improve the fit as well. I’ve had to replace the clips, but I’m not sure if that was from so much use or possibly I stepped on it? When I replaced the clips, I made them so the fit is tighter. I find myself wearing this one over the other type since I don’t have shoulder pain when I wear this one. Seriously I could wear this all day and be comfortable.

I like it. I've worn it while walking our two mile walk in the morning. And also during the day for about an hour. I like that i can tighten the tabs at the waist and then a lot of the weight is off my shoulders and on my hips...which doesn't feel uncomfortable at all for me. seems to fit me well. I'm 5'4" 115 lbs. i'm using it little by little to give my body a chance to get used to it.

Not sure you cld ask any more from a weight vest...comfortable, stable, feels secure...slight warning tho, I'm a small female and while I cld jog with the 12 lb vest on, it was a little aggressive..12 lbs doesn't seem like much, but think of it as going from 110 to 122 in a second...I ordered the 8 lb for a backup... over all very satisfied..

Comecei comprando o de 3,6 kg para conhecer o produto e saber se eu conseguiria incorporá-lo à minha rotina. Minha primeira impressão ao retirá-lo da caixa foi de satisfação com a qualidade da costura e do material, não deixou a desejar em quesito algum. Ele é um colete muito bem desenvolvido, resistente, e a distribuição do peso é excelente. Após algumas caminhadas, me adaptei a ele, e decidi que era a hora de fazer o "upgrade" e comprei o de 5,4kg para aumentar a dificuldade. O colete de 3,6 ficou para a minha mãe, que tem 66 anos e me acompanha nas caminhadas matinais. Nossa vida foi transformada por esses coletes, usamos sempre para caminhar e temos percebido uma melhora na nossa força e no nosso nível de energia durante o dia. Foi especialmente transformador para ela, que é sedentária e tem aversão a exercícios de força, então esse colete possibilitou a ela uma forma de incorporar peso nos exercícios cardiovasculares os quais ela tem melhor aceitação.

Buen producto pero para correr se mueve.. Seria bueno que se colocara vencro para sujetar mejor.. La limpieza se puede hacer con trapo humedo y secar a la sombra.
