By the time it arrived I had completely forgotten about ordering it and image my suprise when I ripped open a package and this hunk of gold metal came out. I was so impressed! It's like that relative who always gave you terrible or unusable gifts but that one time they found you the coolest thing... that's this paperweight! It's actually made of metal and it's a solid weight. It's about the same size as the lacrosse ball, smaller than a tennis ball. It was a bit smaller than it looked online but everything else exceeded expectations. It spins so beautifully and smooth. The line design is mesmerizing. Spin one way and it looks like the lines are moving up. Spin it the other way and they go down. It's also quiet with a whoosh sound when it spins. It's heavy enough to use as an actual paperweight if needed but it's a great classy spinning sphere. I use it all the time when stuck on conference calls. I find it very soothing and relaxing. It's visually beautiful, it makes a calm white noise and allows you to physically spin it giving your hands something to do. It's just what this poor quarantined office worker needed.
