I received them both on the same day and tossed them in the wash. My first night I tried the Champions figuring they will probably be the better of the two. What a disappointment! The legs were quite a bit too long and the pockets are flared open looking like wings, almost as if the pants were stretched at the hips only they aren't. The pants just fit this way. I was kind of bummed but figured maybe that's just what I'm stuck with for the price I paid. The next night I went to put on the Fruit of the loom brand sweatpants with pretty low expectations. I certainly didn't figure FTL would do better than Champion. Well I was very wrong. The fruit of the loom sweatpants fit perfect. The hem sits right on my heel and the pants lay really nice. The pockets are easy to get into yet lay very nice as well. They are everything I was hoping for but are super cheap. If they're tired of wearing womens froo-froo flimsy sweats around the house....GET THESE.I'm a size 6. I bought a mens small. They fit great. A small would fit a size 8 iust as well. They're warm, thick with a strong elastic waist a tie string. The crotch is a little low, but I love that..it's comfy. I found that womens sweats are, at the very best, double stitched around the waist. These are triple stitched. I don't have to worry about them falling off if the tie comes undone, or losing the tie in the waistband or having the waistband stretch to the point I have to poke holes in the sweats and run a shoelace through. This is exactly what I needed, it fits great, is straight leg, and if I roll up the bottom a couple times it looks pretty stylish. It's super comfy. The butt was a little tight as it's a mens fit, but I think I've stretched it out already and anyway it looks kind of nice with a tight butt and more open legs. Honestly, how a straight leg fit should be. The only problem with that is that it stretches out the pocket openings, but I don't care because I wanted comfy track pants like these forever and nobody makes them for women for some reason. The pockets aren't mesh??? Not that it matters to me. The inside is fleece lined, but not super warm, just very comfy and soft.
