A little different than OEM, but fits on OEM brake booster. - 2008 Impala LT
I original bought this check valve kit to remedy a suspected vacuum leak in the brake booster area of my 2008 Impala LT. I was noticing an audible hissing noise when pressing the brake as well as noticeably reduced braking power. That being said, this item did not fix my issue but it's worth checking out before other parts since it's very affordable.The fix for my vacuum leak came from the plastic/rubber seal within the brake booster itself which is not a part you can purchase by itself. You have to purchase an entire new brake booster or pull the part from a brake booster on a similar model year Impala from an auto salvage yard.This item is slightly bigger than the OEM check valve and a different color (slightly off white/grey). See pictures for packaging and side-by-side comparison of OEM vs this AC Delco check valve.I've attached bonus pics of the original brake booster seal that failed and caused the brake booster to malfunction and the intact one I pulled from a salvaged Impala. Hope this helps!

Excellent cheap fix for brakes
I did not realize this was a serviceable part. I can't believe how much this little valve has increased my stopping power on my 2000 GMC Sierra. If you are not getting the firmness in your braking that you should be getting. Start with this part first. I kept bleeding my brakes thinking I still had air in the lines. Turns out, the valve had long worn out and the rubber grommet no longer provided a good seal. After putting 330,000 miles on my truck, I guess that is to be expected. The part comes in a gray color(not black as pictured.) I didn't care. It was packaged in ACDELCO packaging.

Perfect fit - 2005 silverado 1500 ext. Cab
The check valve looks to be slightly bigger, but it fit right in. The seal at the brake booster was torn/leaky so I got this kit. Everything is back to normal. The old check valve is still good so it'll be a spare. If possible, I always go with OEM parts.

It would have fit.
