A beautiful gift box for anyone who loves stationery. The box is sturdy and can be used as an ideal storage box for all writing equipment. There is a good assortment inside and the quality is as you would expect from Bic. I bought it as a gift and the recipient was delighted with it.

Love everything about this set apart from the fact that there is nothing to hold the pens in place within the box, resulting in them falling out when it was opened. Had they been secured in place I would have bought again for another recipient but this stops me from doing so. However I do love the contents.

I bought this for my friend who turned 30 this month and as she really likes stationary I thought she'd be happy with this and luckily she loved it.

Bought this for my daughter as a Christmas present after I had slightly mocked the idea of having an advent calendar full of stationery! Seemed very pleased with it :-)

Nice little package!

Like other reviewers, I love the gel pens. They write very smoothly and are comfortable in the hand. A definite win!I have mixed feelings about the rest of the package, though. It certainly looks nice when you receive it. But it feels like too much packaging to me - the box isn’t very practical for keeping the pens in, and the partitions make it difficult to redirect it to another use, so I think it's going to end up in the recycling, which feels rather wasteful these days.Yes the notebook’s nice and sticky notes always come in handy. As for the other pens, I was rather thrown by the gold and silver ballpoints, which turn out actually to write in blue and black. Given all the promise of sparkle and stars on the packaging, I was expecting them to contain gold and silver ink, so was rather disappointed. However, they do write nicely and seem more reliable than many, as do the 4-colour ones.The permanent markers are also nice to use, though not as fine as you might expect given that they’re labelled ‘fine point’. Like the gel pens, they’re a comfortable fit in the hand. Together, the gel pens and markers give a nice selection of colours.So, overall, I guess it depends what you want. I’d have been happy to have the nicer pens without the ‘normal’ ones and the fancy packaging. It’s clearly intended to be given as a gift and is certainly nice to open and unpack - but do everyday biros really feel that special? And the box makes me feel guilty for not being able to think of a use for it.
