**Q: Are these good for brass musicians? I hate the loud buzzing noises I get from other ear protection and am looking for something new.**
A: EtyPLUGS are great for you brass players. They will turn down the volume evenly across all frequencies.  You won't lose the highs and the sound will still be clear, not muffled.  As the percussionist said, you will likely be able to hear yourself better.  Since these are passive earplugs, there will not be any buzzing.  Standard size fits most.  If you aren't sure which size you will need, try the ER20-COMBO pack for your first purchase.  It contains 1 standard fit pair and 1 large fit pair.Etymotic Research Customer Service

**Q: How well do these work to reduce wind noise on a motorcycle at freeway speeds?**
A: I would imagine if they are well enough seated to not work themselves out that they would do fine.  I work in healthcare and my patients depend on me and my stethoscope.  I wore them to a rather loud rock concert with pyrotechnics and etc etc...had no post-concert ringing/issues yet was still able to hear the music and enjoy it.

**Q: What is the rubbery material made of? Are these latex-free?**
A: I’m unsure. I have used it but it doesn’t reduce the sound from my ears.

**Q: how to know if size will be correct for me?**
A: That's tough question to answer. With custom-made earplugs, an audiologist comes and makes a mold of your ears, but with these, there's nobody that shows up at your door.All I can do is compare it to the commonly-available disposable foam earplugs that you can find at any Home Depot. These white plugs seem to be the same size as those--in other words, they both are too large for my ears.So if the disposable plugs fit your ears comfortably, then these will likely fit yours comfortably. If the disposable plugs are too large, then go for the smaller, blue Etymotic plugs.
