CrispLid with 6-qt. Instant Pot Duo Evo Plus is a game changer!
Cooking for 1-2 with (2) IP 3-qt ultras, 6-qts. is really too big for my needs. BUT replacing my 3.7 qt air fryer with a pressure cooker/air fryer combo not only provides more versatility but frees up counter space in a small kitchen! So I just had to try this CrispLid! I chose to try the new 6-qt Instant Pot Duo Evo Plus because of the new heat resistant inner pot handles & that the inner pot can be used on an induction burner or stove. No 3-qt available for the crisp lid or evo+ ๐ข My only concern was potential damage to the Evo+ inner pot handles & if this set up can truly replace my stand alone air fryer. The Mealthy Crisp Lid has far exceeded my expectations! I love this thing! It works perfectly & tickled that yes, it can & will replace my air fryer! My air fryer basket fits inside the Evo+ inner pot but for the handle, so air frying surface area is the same. Air fryer & pressure cookers used several times a day - the CrispLid is a game changer! I keep the 6-qt instant pot on the counter now with the crisp lid on top, instant pot lid in cabinet. So easy to use the CrispLid, cleanup is a breeze & changing lids simple. My concern about the Instant Pot Evo+ pot handles getting too much heat from the CrispLid appears to be unfounded. I made chicken broth in the pressure cooker, then later air fried another item with the CrispLid. The Evo+ inner pot handles get warm, but not at all uncomfortable to the touch & felt the same temperature whether air frying or pressure cooking. Yay! 6-qt is still too big for my needs, but for air frying, perfect size. I'm quite happy with the 6-qt size though & will use pot-in-pot method for pressure cooking + air frying. Another big plus is that all my air fryer accessories also fit in the 6-qt. Evo+ inner pot & can be used with the CrispLid. Excellent customer service from Mealthy as I chatted on website & emailed a couple of times before deciding to purchase. Quick responses, so helpful & obvious they care very much about customer satisfaction. The CrispLid air fries just as good, IF NOT BETTER than an air fryer. And I can pressure cook, then brown, all in the same pot. I love the CrispLid & completely happy with it. Very well made, great accessories & it even comes with a plastic Velcro thingie to keep the cord tidy. I highly recommend the CrispLid & would purchase again, especially if it ever comes out in the 3-qt size. I am so impressed, I would even consider a 3-qt Mealthy pressure cooker should that size ever become available. Thanks for a fantastc product Mealthy!

Super easy to use; works perfectly on Instant Pot brand pots
So one of my favorite IP food bloggers, Urvashi Pitre (whose blog and cookbooks I highly recommend), mentioned this air fryer lid would be on sale as of Black Friday. Today I used it for the first time. It was ridiculously easy to use. It comes with a recipe book, small stainless steel basket, stainless steel tongs with rubberized prongs, raised trivet and silicone trivet. I bought the large stainless basket separately. I made panko crusted chicken breasts in 20 minutes. Following their recipe, all you do is spray cooking spray on tight sides of breasts and put into basket. Set the temperature (350) for 20 minutes and turn halfway through. I was worried that the top was getting a little too brown on the first set, but they didn't burn. They came out crips on the outside, juicy on the inside. In other words, perfect! They have an awesome free app and the cookbook that comes with it is perfect to start as well. It's extremely user friendly. I see this as a much better alternative for me than buying another device. My kitchen has enough awesome gadgets already! :)

What a remarkable invention!
After giving my toaster oven to a friend in need, I began looking at toaster/convection oven combos, wanting the ability to air fry. I was uninterested in rice cookers & the like, until the electric pressures caught my attention! Now looking at 2 LARGE, heavy countertop appliances, I decided to choose which options I want/need as well as things I could replace with anything new, best option for me I decided was Ninja Foodie, combining air frying with pressure cooking, and more! I wasn't keen on spending +|- $200 for one, and began looking for alternatives, and was fascinated by Mealthy crisper. Now I was looking at buying 2 products to get what I wanted, the +|- $50 difference between both Mealthy products (yes, sold separately) & Ninja Foodie, enough to keep my interest - I looked into Mealthy website looking for answers, and YES, crisper really IS compatible with most other manufacturers 6qt electric pressure cookers, WOOHOO! I put in my order when I stumbled onto a cooker on sale for $30 off, combined with Mealthy @ $49 (1week ago), I paid $100 for both - saving me $50-$115 over the alternatives- depending on where I looked! Does it work?! LOL -YES! I have things I need to learn regarding air frying, especially where oil is/isn't needed. As shown in my pics, Mealthy fits the pressure cooker as if made for it, and surprisingly, my 6qt pot from my stainless steel pots/pans as well, possibly giving me even more flexibility, and I'm more delighted I don't need to find a place to store it, as it fits just perfect in the drawer below the oven atop the pot! It couldn't be more convenient/close at hand to the pressure cooker, perched atop the stove I'm hopeful it replaces, as well as crockpot, electric roaster and oven (aside from holidays) possibly more! As 6qt pressure cookers are not small, weighing in excess of 10lbs, plan on a place to put/leave yours, allowing space to store Mealthy as well, while only a few pounds, it's bulky! Hopefully, you'll find a place for easy access as I have! Mealthy came well packaged & protected, as shown in the pics, along with a user manual, small cookbook to start you out, the stand needed to elevate what you're crisping if/when needed, a silicon trivet, and tongs. There's info on the Mealthy app located on the box - a few recipes are available, possibly they will increase in number as Mealthy is used & recipes submitted. If you're looking for airfry recipes, I highly recommend the apps/websites I run to now instead of my library of cookbooks - abundant recipes & freely accessible are on both the Pinterest app & website, as well as on the Yummly app/website to a lesser extent -as I said, my go 2s to find what I'm looking for. I included a picture of Mealthy as I drooled while watching egg rolls & crab Rangoon airfry - eggrolls were perfeCt, I'm afraid Crab Rangoon requires me learning more -it needs more than very light brush of oil. After I've had time to use it, get acquainted with airfrying, I'll come back and update my review - hopefully to the 5* I'm inclined to give it. As I did purchase the extended warranty, I fully expect I'll be very happy with this purchase!! Hope this review helps you decide.

Loving it from the start!
I could not be happier with this purchase. I had been eyeing an air fryer but could justify adding another appliance to our limited storage kitchen so this beauty is a dream come true. Right out of the box I made breaded pork chops and Brussels sprouts. Both turned out fantastic. No more frying my chops and losing breading or using too much oil or overcooking or burning! There is virtually no learning curve with this and you can make a delicious meal immediately. The only downside is being limited by the surface diameter of your pressure cooker. I was able to cook only 3 pork chops at once so I had to do two batches. 20 minutes per batch is a decent amount of time but probably no more than Iโd take to pan fry them. Plus, I can set and forget until the timer goes off to turn your food. So really, not a huge drawback in my book.

Easy to use with great results!
This air fryer is so easy to use and is great for people like me who don't like cooking. So far, we have made chicken, salmon, and potatoes, and all have come out perfectly! Chicken and salmon are cooked evenly all the way through, chicken is tender and juicy, salmon is flaky, potatoes get nice and crispy. The only difficuly we've had is that you can't make very much at once - Food won't cook evenly if it's layered on top of each other, and there's not much area in the Multipot to place things in a single layer. It takes 40+ minutes to make enough potatoes for just three people because you need to make two batches and flip each batch halfway through cooking... But everything else about it has been great!

Perfect Air Fryer for limited space!
I love my new Mealthy Crisplid Air Fryer! So far I have made French fries, fried zucchini, brussel sprouts, fried chicken, and Falafels and they were all crispy and delicious! It's super easy to use. Unplug the Instant Pot. The Crisplid lays on top of either a 6 or 8 qt IP. There is a handle to lift it on and off. If you have to lift it off to turn the food (placing it on the silicone trivet that is provided) it saves the time and temperature remaining. I love that you can watch the food as it's cooking and turn it off at any time. Easy as the IP to clean, just put the basket into the steel container to soak. The only possible negative is that you can't make large batches at one time, but the perfect portion size for two. If you are looking for an air fryer, but have limited space, this works great!

Not what you think
This is a really nice addition to have with your pressure cooker. However, it really isn't what you think it is. As far as browning and crisping, it does a great job. But for full blown air cooking forget it. The unit does not heat to the correct temperature stated on the display. Using a temperature meter, the actual temperature was 25 degrees lower than what is stated on the display. What was interesting was that I just found a video on you tube where someone measured the temp and it was also, 25 degrees lower. I just adjusted the cooking time accordingly. A drawback is that you can only adjust the temperature in 25 degree increments. Another drawback is the use of the halogen light instead of coil heating, trying to cook hamburgers was a disaster with the exterior of the patty getting burnt even before the temperature was reached. Tried again using a lower trivet with the basket and a lower temperature, and results were still the same. Halogen lights don't last very long (my experience with them weren't good) and sometimes has a tendency to crack and put glass in your food. So if yours blows out, you will have to replace the whole thing. It is very lightweight and is not noisy at all when on. This is a good device for browning and crisping, and french fries don't turn out bad. If you want this just for french fries what for? A toaster oven is just as good. It does not replace your air fryer so keep yours. It fits perfectly on my Potastic pressure cooker. I'm going to keep mine, but disappointed.

Absolute must have!
Love love love my crisp lid. I havent turned on my oven even once since i bought this and i use this at least once every day - re-heat chicken nuggets/leftover pizza, or make chicken tandoori. Cook in my instapot, broil/crisp using crisp lid and boom - only one pot to clean and the house is not heated. Also no need to wait for pre-heating the oven. As a working mom, i never have time/patience for that. What a great invention! My worry is my oven will soon become a dish drawer to hold my baking pans lol. i have recently ordered perforated parchment paper, which i hear will make the cleaning much easier. Right now i soak the basket as soon as i am done and then clean it using toothbrush after i am done eating. I then throw it in dishwasher for a final wash. Its a bit of a hassle but worth it. The lid itself is just a 'wipe with warm cloth' clean. It is beginning to accumulate brown spots at the bottom but that doesnt really bother me. The only downside is the size, you cannot cook a big batch since the basket is too small, but i hear they came up with a new deeper basket to solve that problem. Lets see.

Works great and very easy to use!!
This is great!! It works perfectly. It replaces my deep fryer. You get all the crispness of a deep fryer without all the calories. It is also great for things that you would normally turn on the oven for. Like fish, steak bites, Tator tots or fries. If you already have an Instant Pot, it is a great addition

It's worth every penny! I love it!
UPDATE: it's now almost 2 years old and still going strong. My whole family uses it everyday. I believe a proper air fryer would cook more at a time, but we are happy with this. The trade off is that it takes up very little space on the counter top. It's convenient and very easy to use. It's so easy to keep clean too. ............... Original review: I love my new Mealthy Crisplid. It's super easy to use and gives your food the grilled look and taste. I use mine with the 8qt InstantPot.
